Do you welcome them into your small select community of christian worship or do you reject them and cast them out as sinners?

I remember a statement that was once issued from the pulpit in the charismatic church that I attended.

"We want to start some communities in the church. A support group for gays and lesbians. Sorry, let me change that. A support group for ex gays and ex lesbians. Practising gays are not welcome."

I still remember thinking, " How can you ever become a ex gay without Jesus, through the church, to help you."

So many churches that I know of reject the gays, lesbians and other sinners right out of their close and select little communities. "They are sinners you know, and they are going straight to the pits of hell. I want nothing to do with them."

Years ago, in the same church mentioned above, a guest preacher was invited to preach at a yearly conference. The preacher, whose name I will not mention, was one of the most down to earth and incredible preachers that I have ever heard preaching.

He spoke on how his own spirit filled church was filled with gays, lesbians, and sinners of every class, and how every single person was welcomed into his church without criticism or judgement and each and every soul was loved regardless of what they were involved in.

Now is that not how you would picture Jesus to be. Jesus rejected the upright and "righteous" people of the time and chose instead to spend his time in the company of tax collectors and other sinners.

Needless to say, that preacher was almost run out of town and every word that he preached was rejected by the church. Where was Jesus.

If you are expected to be washed and cleansed of all sin before you enter a church, how will anyone ever get to enter a church and meet with Jesus. If you expect a gay person to repent and give up his ways before he can come into your church to meet the living Jesus, then chances are he will never get to meet Jesus and accept Jesus into his life.

Were you free from all sin in your life before you first entered into your church and met Jesus? No - I did not think so.

Are you free from all sin in your life now - even though you have already been a christian for a long time? Again No!

Well if you are not free from sin, why do you expect a Gay or Lesbian or any other sinner to be free from their sin before they can enter your community? Is it perhaps that you consider that their sin is worse than your sin? As far as I am concerned sin is sin and there is no variation between sins. There is no single sin that is better than another sin. Sin is sin and in order to cleanse yourself of sin you have to go before Jesus, repent and be washed clean by His Blood.

Jesus does the changing .

Jesus loves you enough to accept you as you are, but loves you too much to leave you as you are.

When you come to Jesus and give your life to Him, crying Jesus help me please, Jesus opens his arms out to you and embraces you. He accepts you as you are, forgives you and washes you clean with His Blood. Slowly but surely He begins the process of changing you, your life and your passions. It is not an overnight or instant process. It takes time. He is the potter and you are the clay. Slowly you are molded into what He wants you to be.

In the case of gays and lesbians who are often some of the most hurting people in the world and who need the loving embrace of Jesus more than most, why do we reject them further and cast them out, expecting them to remove the sin from their lives immediately whilst we readily accept the fact that Jesus is still working in our own lives and has not yet completed the task of removing all the sin in our own life.

Take the log out of your own eye before you remove the splinter from your neighbours eye.

Before you judge and reject someone according to their "sin" and cast them out of your select community, simply ask yourself what Jesus would do if that person was standing in front of Him. Would He cast them out, or would He open His arms to them and love them. Sure I know that you are not Jesus, but then can you really claim to be a follower of Christ if you do not accept His ways and teachings.

Open your hearts and love someone today. Show them how the love of Jesus shines through you and help them to change their life simply by being accepted by someone like you. Your accepting someone for who they are could be the biggest thing that ever happened in their life and could make the real difference that will alter their lives forever.

God Bless

Fear of the Lord God has been lost in this modern society of ours. The fear of the Lord is the great mechanism that holds a nation together and leads it into righteousness and blessings. When the fear of the Lord is removed, the nation breaks apart and drifts into into sin of every description and decay and destruction follow.

The church is partly to blame for some of the erroneous teachings that have spread through the world. These teachings are teachings such as that the Old Testament is no longer applicable to our new generation, because of Jesus. They also add that the Love is Jesus is so great that it covers every sin. This is true, but not to the extent that it has become to be believed by all and sundry.

The love of Jesus will cover any sin that you repent of and confess to. It will not cover sins that are openly committed with the belief of "Oh well, Jesus will forgive me anyway!" Sin is dirt in God's eye and He can not stand sin. God and Jesus are the same and therefore, although Jesus is quick to forgive and true to forgive you, unrepented sin is dirt in their eye and can bring forth judgement and wrath from God.

Deuteronomy 10:12 "And now Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul."

The New Testament is built upon the old testament and has the old testament as a foundation. When viewing the old testament, it is viewed through the cross of Jesus and only where the work of Jesus specifically negates something from the old testament , does the item become crossed out in the old testament, and that also only to him who has accepted the Jesus as his Lord and Saviour and who recognises the work of Jesus.

Deuteronomy 10:12 above says that you must fear the Lord. Nothing that Jesus has done negates this commandment, and so therefore it stands as strong today as it did thousands of years ago. Losing the fear of God allows the doorway of sin to open. This nation has lost the fear of God and has become a nation of iniquity. With the iniquity comes the curses of deuteronomy 28.

One of the biggest concerns in modern times, amongst all nations is the spread of cancer and other disease. Cancer stood at a mere one person in a hundred who stood a chance to get cancer in the early 1900's. It is now estimated that one in three will get cancer, and even that figure is getting closer to one in two. Why? Because this nation has lost the fear of God and the curses of God are upon the nations. Look at Deuteronomy 28:27. This verse that describes some of the results of disobedience to God, specifically lists the tumours.

Now please, I am not saying that you have cancer because you do not fear God. There are many different reasons why cancer can be found in your body. However, this is a prime example of the evidence that the loss of the fear of God in the nation will lead to death and destruction of that nation.

Pray for our nations of the world today, that they will return to being God fearing nations who love the lord their God with all their might and all their heart and who set out to serve Him first, that the blessings of God may return to the nations and all will see His glory.

Proverbs 10:12 "Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins."

John15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends“.

Jesus had such great love for us, that He laid down His life for us, and in so doing, all of our sins, past, present and future, are covered and hidden away. Jesus was prepared to pay the ultimate price, to become a sacrifice for you and me. He took the place of the old sacrifice which was necessary for the atonement of sins, and became the final sacrifice, that we no longer had to continually perform ceremonious sacrifices, to wash away our sins. He Loved us so much that He spared us from the law of sin and death, that we would be able to share in eternity in Heaven with Him.

I recently read somewhere that one of the churches had issued an instruction to their individual churches, that they should no longer be preaching the cross, as people no longer found this an interesting or appropriate message in modern times. It is sad, but yet it is also a fact that many people are unable to fully comprehend the message of the cross. However there is something that everyone searches for, and that is love and acceptance.

Jesus was, and still is, perfect love. Jesus accepted all who came to Him, and not only accepted them, but loved them eternally. Mary Magdalene was one of Jesus's closest followers and supported Him throughout His ministry, and yet she is the woman out of which He cast the seven demons. The seven demons did not come from leading a good and wholesome life. Yet Jesus accepted her, cast the demons out of her, and His perfect love hid all the sin away. The apostle Paul was a great sinner who actively persecuted the early church, and yet Jesus touched Him and covered all of his sins, and made Him into one of the greatest.

I can just imagine the scene when they brought the womam who had been caught in the act of adultery, to Jesus. They wished to stone her and kill her according to the law of Moses. Yet Jesus quitely said to them, "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone." And then Jesus carried on with what He was doing. All of the accusers left. Now comes the strange part. When the woman realised that she had received a temporary reprieve, why did she not run and hide before her accusers came back to stone her. (John8:3 to 11)

She could not. She remained riveted to the floor. Then Jesus looked up at her and said to her "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." Can you imagine the eyes of Jesus, as he looked up at her, filled with perfect love, with not even the slightest glimpse of condemnation for what this woman had done.

It is with those very same eyes that Jesus looks down on you today. He sees no sin, for His perfect love for you has hidden all the sin in your life. He has already paid the price for your sin, so that you may walk fearlessly amongst your accusers. You no longer need to run, for as the accuser tries to condemn you, Jesus turns to your accuser and says to them, "You who are without sin, cast the first stone." The accuser quickly leaves.

Jesus wants you to feel His love that He has for you, if only you will allow Him to show it to you. If you have never experienced that perfect love before, then come to Him and say this small prayer, that He may pour His love over you and say to you, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." Click here.

Creating a Platform for a Miracle to heal Cancer.

Cancer is a collective name given to group of some 252 different diseases that all have similar characteristics. In modern medicine cancer is treated via surgical removal of the tumours, radiation , hormone therapy and Chemotherapy. Chemothereapy involves the injection or introduction of a poisonous chemical into the body, which will hopefully attack the cancer cells and destroy the cancer.

The chemotherapy used is from an assortment of some 75 different drugs, of which some have been known to combat some cancers in some people but each person reacts differently and so it is mostly a hit and miss game. Chemotherapy is prescribed by the oncologist on a basis of using the drugs or poison most known to be effective in the treatment of the particular cancer first. The progress is monitored and if no significant change is noted, the chemo is changed and the process repeated. Unfortunately this process of administer and monitor takes time and it can often be the case that due to rapid spread and multiple cancer species being in the body, that the chemotherapy proves to be unsuccesful.

Unfortunately the long term survival prognosis, for people treated traditionally with radiation, surgery, hormone therapy and chemotherapy is less than 5%. The purpose of this article is to assist you to being able to change that statistic in your life.

If you are a cancer sufferer, you need a miracle in your life. A condition for a miracle, as defined by Angus Buchan, is difficulty. A condition for a great miracle is impossibility. Cancer provides a great platform for a miracle in your life. As can be seen from the above definition and the above facts, cancer is a major difficulty and is almost impossible to control and defeat. It is however almost impossible, not impossible, for with God, all things are possible.

How to heal your Cancer through a Miracle.

In order to fully understand the power that is in the word of God to overcome cancer or any other disease, I need to first take you through a couple of biblical scriptures to show you the path that you need to follow, and then to lift your faith to a level whereby you will be able to receive a miracle into your life.

Sickness comes from a variety of sources and for a variety of reasons. One of the main reasons that traditional medicine fails in it's treatment of cancer, is that the treatment is aimed at the symptom and not the cause or root problem. While you only treat the symptom, it will always return again, and each time it returns it will come back stronger. This is why most cancer patients treated, will be found to be clear after their first bout of treatments. After a period the cancer comes back more aggressively than ever before. The second round of treatments is far more difficult as the cancer has usually metastised (moved to a different place) and spread, often to multiple locations.

The metastisis of cancer on it's second round, makes it difficult to treat as surgical removal is impossible, and radiation is difficult as often it occurs in an area that has already been radiated before and can not be radiated again.

In the bible, it shows that in some circumstances, cancer can be as a result of sin. Deuteronomy 28:27 "The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with tumours, with the scab...". Often sin that has occurred in your life or the life of one of your ancestors, can be the root cause of the cancer. This is confirmed when we look at some of the miracles of Jesus.

In John 5:14 Jesus healed a man that had an infirmity for 38 years and Jesus then said to him, "Sin no more, lest a worse thing comes upon you."

In Matthew 9:2 Jesus healed a paralytic by saying to Him that his sins were forgiven. In John 9:2 when Jesus healed a blind man, his disciples asked why the man was born blind, wether it was due to the sins of the man's parents or the man's own sins.

The bible lists many miracles where Jesus forgave them of their sins and they were healed. I can not list all of the scriptures in this article as there is not enough space, but know this that if you are true to confess and repent of your sins, Jesus is the same today and tomorrow as He was yesterday, and Jesus wants to forgive you and heal you as well.

Cancer comes back. In Matthew 12:43 Jesus describes how when a demon is cast out of it's house, it goes away and goes through dry places and wanders around. It then decides to go back and check on it's old place of abode, and finding it swept clean, the demon goes and takes with him seven more spirits, more wicked than himself, and dwells there. "And the last state of that man is worse than the first."

The above characteristic of the demon is exactly how cancer operates and so it is often the case that cancer is the result of sin as shown in Deuteronomy 28 and takes on the form of a demon. How do we then get rid of this cancer.

The first and foremost aspect of dealing with and defeating cancer, or any other major sickness, is to return your life to Jesus. Bring your life to Jesus and ask him to forgive you of all of your sins. Ask Him to remove the root cause of your sickness.

Next is that you have to believe that He is able to perform a miracle on your life and that He wants to perform a miracle. In searching the gospels about the miracles of Jesus and the healings that Jesus performed, there are some common characteristics found in all the miracles.

1) Jesus never went looking for people to heal. The people sought Jesus, often coming from far off places and taking days to journey to Him, knowing that He was their only hope. They had already tried everything and it did not work.

2) They all came to Jesus with the total faith and belief that Jesus was able to heal them and would heal them. Often our own beliefs, lack of belief and fears prevent us from being healed. Many believe that they are not worthy of Jesus due to their past and therefore that Jesus will not heal you. Jesus came to the sinners, not the righteous, and His wish is that all may come to Him and be set free from the chains that have been holding them in captivity.

3) Jesus was moved by compassion towards them. Before Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, Jesus wept. Matthew 14:14 describes how Jesus was moved by compassion and then healed their sick. Jesus is moved by compassion right now over your sickness and is weeping for you.

4) They were persistent in their pursuit for healing and would do anything to be healed. In the scriptures, the woman from Canaan whom Jesus ignored, told Him that even the dogs fed from the crumbs under the table. The woman with the flow of blood, came quitely from behind Jesus and touched the hem of His garment. They lowered the bed through the roof to where Jesus was.

Above, the platform for a miracle in your life, to remove your sickness has been described. The basic steps are first to seek after Jesus, repent and lay your life before Jesus. Second is to ask Jesus for a miracle and to believe without any doubt that He will provide the miracle in your life. Thirdly, is to know that Jesus does have compassion for you and is weeping over your circumstances, and that His wish for you is that you be set free.

Fourth and very importantly, is to understand that in order for you to be forgiven of your sins and to be healed, you have to firts forgive those that have sinned against you. Jesus can only forgive you, the way that you have forgiven others. Unforgiveness in your heart towards others is a prime spiritual cause of cancer. The unforgiveness becomes a cancer within you that eats you up. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Read this article about forgiving.

Lastly, is to wait upon Him. In many instances, Jesus gave certain instructions to people for them to receive their healing. He placed clay on the eyes of the blind man and told him to go and wash the clay off in the pool of Siloam (John 9:7). The man then went and washed off the clay and received his sight. In modern days, Jesus is doing the same. He told one man to eat the root of the dandelion and the man was healed from His cancer. he told another to eat a very hot Chilli and the man has healed from His cancer. Now Jesus is not telling you to do this. He told those particular people what would work for them. You need to seek Jesus, trust in Him, and wait on Him for His instructions about your healing. Jesus works differently with different people as He requires that you wait on Him and have faith in Him - not in the dandelion or Chilli. Put your faith in Him and he will heal you.

James 5:14 says that if any of you are sick, you are to call for the elders of the church to anoint you with oil, and to pray for you that you be healed, and that the prayer of faith will set you free. It is very important that you are set in a church and that you constantly call on the elders to anoint yo with oil and pray. Jesus says in Matthew 18:20 that where two or more are gathered in His name, that He is there in the midst of them. In Matthew 18:19 it says that when two or more agree on anything concerning that which you ask, it will be done for them by the Father in Heaven.

My late wife had a cancerous tumour on her brain. The tumour of approximately 2cm diameter, was identified through a MRI scan and she was immediately wisked away to a brain surgeon who wished to operate the next day. We called for the elders of the church, who came and anointed her with oil, and prayed for her.

The next morning, she was again taken for a MRI scan, immediately before they were to do the brain surgery, in order that they could set the computers that were to assist in the operation. We waited patiently after the scan for her to be taken into the operating theatre. There was quite a stir in the department and a look of unbelief on many faces, but we were not too sure what was going on. Eventually I was requested to go to the operating theatre where the surgeon wanted to speak to me. I went to the theatre and the brain surgeon came and informed me that I could take my wife home. There would be no operation as there was no tumour anymore. The tumour was completely removed. God is Great!

Daily people are dying from cancer. It is estimated that 1 in 3 will contract cancer at some stage in their life. Cancer is blamed on many different things, but mostly it comes down to one fact. By getting your life in order with God, you can prevent cancer from coming upon you, or be healed from your cancer. A life without God, will enhance your chances of contracting cancer through the unforgiven sins that you may commit and the unforgiveness towards others that you may hold in your life. Jesus is true to forgive you of your sins and to heal you.

God Bless.

We live in a Church filled with Imperfect Christians.

The only difference between a Christian and someone who is not saved, is that our sins are forgiven. We are not perfect, we have all sinned and yes, we will all sin again, probably even in the next couple of minutes.

Why is it that the world and even some churches, expect that the minute you give your life over to God and dedicate yourself to serving Jesus, that you must now suddenly become perfect and have no sin. The minute a christian is seen to sin, the whole world and half of the christians themselves are there pointing fingers and saying, "And they call themselves Christians".

We know that none are without sin. The only one who ever lived on this earth without sin was Jesus himself. So then why are we so quick to point fingers and to judge those who have sin in their lives. The whole reason that fingers are pointed is because the finger pointer is obeying the instructions of their Father, "The Accuser" or otherwise known as satan.

What is a hypocrite.

The Miriam webster dictionary defines a hypocrite as being one who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion. I define Hypocrisy as going against what you preach. I do not preach that we are without sin. I preach that we are all filled with sin and that even though we fight to control the sin within us, it does come out and show itself and when it does come out, the Lord Jesus is there to wash it away and is true to forgive us of that sin if we are willing to confess and to repent of it.

We are at war with sin and a war comprises many battles. Some battles are won and some are lost. What we do know is that once we are christians that we will win the war against sin even though we may lose some batlles along the way.

As I said in the beginning, the only difference between a christian and a non believer is that the sins of the christian are washed away by the blood of Jesus. A christian will try to overcome sins, and many times will succeed, but there will be times when they fail and when you do fail and fall, the world will be there to kick you and accuse you, but while you are lying down, look up into the crowd and there you will see one, His arms stretched out to you, to lift you up and dust you off. His eyes will be filled with love and He will be quick to hug you and embrace you and say to you "My child, I forgive you."

A hypocrite is a christian who is unable to see that all are with sin, and is quick to judge his brothers and sisters of their sins, whilst ignoring their own sins. A hypocrite is the one who points a finger and does not realise that in pointing one finger, that they have three fingers pointing back at themselves.

A church that is filled with perfect people is an ineffective and dead church. How can you be claiming to reach out to the lost if your church is filled with perfect people. The walk into perfection is something that takes a lifetime and the destination will only be reached once you cease to live in this world. When a church is filled with sinnners, then that is a church in which the Lord Jesus is moving. It is a place of life, for those who are without sin have already died and gone to heaven. Jesus said in Matthew 9:13 "For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

When you come to Jesus and choose to follow Him, you begin a journey. The journey is the battle against sin in your life and taking control of the sin. It takes time for you to grow stronger and to gain the spiritual strength to overcome the power of sin our lives. It is a constant fight against your inner self to overcome. Paul talks about the fight in Romans 7:11 to Romans 8:1. There will be times when you do overcome the power of sin and there will be times when you lose the battle. Always know that the end outcome is already signed and sealed.

You will win the war.

God Bless.

Romans 7 : 9
I was alive once without the law,
but when the commandment came,
sin revived and I died.

Good Morning.
The scripture that God gave me this morning confused me a little at first, and then God gave me the interpretation that I must convey.

"I was alive once without the law". Before we come to Christ, we feel that we are alive. We feel that all is ok in our lives and many feel that if they were to die, that they would go straight to heaven. Read this testimony

We then come before Christ and dedicate our lives to Him. Suddenly we receive full knowledge of the commandment (Law) and we realise just what is sin and what is not sin.

We then make a big mistake (of course cunningly devised by satan) and we try to now live 100% according to the law, and not according to the freedom that we have been granted through Christ Jesus.

"Sin revived and I died". Verse ten and eleven go on to say " And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death. For sin taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me."

So many new Christians fall by the wayside because they are brought face to face with the knowledge of good and bad, and then feel that they are incapable of attaining the standard set for them in the law. They feel that overnight they have to become perfect and totally free of sin. This is made worse by the amount of critical Christians that are so ready to point fingers and condemn a fellow christian who has fallen, instead of helping him to stand up.

Although Christ sets us free and forgives us of our sins, we still have the sinful nature within us and the forces of darkness pushing us towards sin. It is a constant battle against these sinful forces. A war is made up of many battles and when you come to Christ you begin a war against sin, and you will win the war through Christ Jesus, but there will be many small battles that you may lose along the way. Do not allow these small loses to bring you to death.

In Romans 7: 19, Paul says " For the good that I will to do, I do not do, but the evil I will not to do, that I practise." Now if Paul battled within himself, then how is it possible that you think that you will not have the same battles going on inside of you. Every one of us has the battle of sin going on within us.

"The commandment which was to bring life" The commandment is there to bring life to us, but satan will use it against you as a weapon to bring forth death. He will bring condemnation upon you and will point out to you just how bad a christian you are. He will try to destroy you. We have the weapon to fight him and his condemnation though.

"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus". Romans 8:1
Everytime that you feel that you are not worthy, or someone else is trying to bring you down, then bring this scripture to your mind, and remember that not one of us is perfect, and all sin. Sin is sin in God's eyes but people will try to convince and convict you that your sin is far worse than their sin.

Walk in the freedom of Christ Jesus who already died that you may live!
God Bless.
