Who Is Jesus To You?
Who Are You In Christ?
Are you walking in the victory that you deserve to walk in or is there something wrong in that you never seem to be able to achieve the spiritual high that you should be in.
One of the key reasons why you fail to reach the full blessings in your life is simply that you have been programmed to believe that you do not deserve them and so you have never sought them out or believed that you could ever attain them.
"What you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth will come to pass."
In most cases, people who are not able to succeed in their christian walk or who are unable to achieve the peace and walk in the love of Jesus, simply believe that they do not have a right to it or that they are not worthy of the love of Jesus in their lives. They are defeated and fail to comprehend that Jesus did it all for them.
Entering into a New Life in Jesus.
When you first give your life to Jesus, you become a new creation in Christ. All things are washed away by the blood of Jesus and you become a totally new person. As far as Jesus and God go, you did not exist before that day because you have just been made a totally new creation. It is only you and your friends and family that know that you even existed before the day that you gave your life to Jesus. At this exact point in time, nothing sets you apart or prevents you from being the greatest man/woman of God that ever existed.
If you became a new creation, then why do you still allow matters from the past to affect your life today? You are a new creation. What happened to you before has no right to affect what you are today. Your past has no right to determine your future.
However, from the very day that you hand your life over to God you start to determine your own future.
"But I thought Jesus was now in control and I did not need to do anything."
Jesus is in control and has already completed all the background work for you, but you need to now take what He has given to you and to start to use it. Jesus has given you all authority in His name. He has given you the keys to heaven and earth, but if you never take the keys and use them, then you can never expect to unlock the rewards in life that are yours through Christ Jesus.
A priest was one day called to go and pray with a old man who was busy dying. The old man was particularly poor and had led a miserable life of poverty. While the priest was in the small room where the old man lived, he noticed a single piece of paper on the wall. He asked the old man what it was. "Oh, it is a beautiful piece of paper that someone gave me once. I was not sure what to do with it so I stuck it up on the wall".
On closer inspection, the priest was shocked to find that the piece of paper was a cheque that had been made out to the old man for the sum of $1 000 000-00. The old man was rich and yet he never knew it.
You are also rich in what Jesus has already done for you, but unless you are prepared to accept the fact that Jesus has given you all the power and authority to use in His name, and unless you start to actually stand out in faith and use the name of Jesus, you will never be able to walk in the full blessings that He has set aside for you.
Isn't it time that you took the cheque off the wall and started to cash it!
Love Jesus
There is no greater love than the love of Jesus. Allow the love of Jesus to shine through you to your family and friends, that you may stand unified in the love of Jesus.
After Jesus had died and been resurrected, the apostles were left with two choices. Either they could walk away and forget all about Jesus and the mighty works that He had done, and the tremendous love that He had poured out, or they could stand together, believing in the words that Jesus had imparted to them, and they could walk forward continuing in the love that Jesus had shared with them. They chose to continue.
The important thing about the early church and the church of Acts, is that they formed a huge close knit family unit, bonded together through the love of Jesus that was inside of them. On the day of Pentecost, they were all gathered together in one accord. They all had the same common purpose, and that was to wait and receive the gift that Jesus had already promised to them. They stood together, loving each other and respecting each other, as one family.
Jesus said that the greatest commandment was to love God with all our hearts, and the second greatest was to love our brothers and sisters as we indeed love ourselves. The early church indeed loved their brothers and sisters in Christ and were prepared to sacrifice for their brothers and sisters just as Jesus had sacrificed for them and us.
After the day of Pentecost, the church moved forward in total unity and with the power that unity brings forth. There was no selfishness or self seeking and all was done for the love of the Lord and the love of the brothers and sisters in Christ.
In Acts 2:44 " Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone has need." They stood together as a family and there is nothing stronger than any family that stands together in unity. For if anything happens to one in a family, it happens to all. If any single person in a family suffers, the whole family suffers with them. And if any weapon is formed against one in a family, the whole family rises to meet and destroy that weapon formed. Hell can not stand against a family united in the love of Jesus.
Churches of today, remember the calling that Christ has given to us, that we are to love one another, as He loved us. We are indeed still one family and there is no single one that is greater than the other. If you see that your brother has need, then reach out to him and see to his needs. If your brother is weak, lift him to his feet and help him to walk. If your brother has no clothes, then clothe him and if he has no food then feed him, and mostly pray that the unity will return to the people of God, that all may stand together in the power and might of the Lord Jesus, and that no weapon formed, against any of the churches or brothers and sisters in Christ, may prosper.
Stand together united in the love of Jesus, forgetting personal agenda's, and remembering always that you stand in the midst of the mightiest army, the army of God. Jesus loves you today as much as He loved any of those who were of the early church. If you do not know the love of Jesus and have yet to join the family of God, then accept Jesus into your life today and become part of the biggest and closest family that ever existed.
Stand in the Name Of Jesus.
Stand fast in the name of Jesus.
Ephesians 6: 10 to 11
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the full armour of God, that you maty be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Verse 14, "Stand therefore having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness."
In the above scriptures it is clearly told to us that we have to stand. The word stand is used in the context not of physical standing but rather means that we should not be moved. Why are we not to be moved? God comes to us and plans our lives for us. He gives us the instructions in our life and begins the events which plan our future.
All is great, but there is one that does not want you to follow the path that God has laid out for you. The devil! As soon as God has given you life changing instruction, the devil will be there to try and move you off of the path of God's intentions for you, and into a path of destruction.
The devil will use all around you, and even those who are close to you, to try and pervert the instructions of God. Stand in what God has instructed you to do and remain under the instructions of God. Do Not Be Moved. Know that the greater the onslaught against you when you stand in the name of Jesus, the greater is the purpose of God in your life.
James 1:6 says that we are not to doubt in God for then we are likened to a wave in the sea which is tossed about and turned around by the wind. We are to build our house upon the Rock of Jesus Christ and to have our feet firmly planted in the Rock, and then the winds, rains and floods may come against us, but we shall withstand all.
Most people who have failed in their callings can attribute it to being moved by the elements instead of standing fast on the rock. They start out by standing, but as soon as the winds start to come against them, they run and are soon swept away by the floods.
There is a great movie about a famous South African evangelist, Angus Buchan, called "Faith like Potatoes". In this true story, God talks to Angus, a humble farmer, and tells him to plant potatoes. As there is a great drought in the area, all around doubt and think him to be crazy when he plants the potatoes. Even his own Pastor is in doubt, but Angus pushes ahead. All looks bad, the potato plants wither in the dry weather and look terrible. However when the harvest day comes, despite the outer and above ground appearance of a dismal harvest, when they start to dig up the harvest, it is a miracle harvest of the most perfect potatoes ever.
Like Angus did, so we must also do. When God has told you to do something, know that no word that has come from God will be impossible or without the power that you need to complete the instruction.
Above all stand in the word of Jesus.
You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God
Matthew 16 : 15 to 16
He said to them
"But who do you say that I am?"
And Simon Peter answered and said
"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God"
Good Morning and happy Workers Day or May Day.
Christ asked the disciples who they thought that he was. Simon Peter had the revelation and confessed with his mouth in front of all that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Have you confessed to others that He is the Christ. This is one of the most powerfull statements that you can ever make before others. It is the first step of your walking in total authority. It is the first step towards your moving away from being the tail and becoming the head.
Let us presume that you are working as a clerk in a large multi-national bank. You are a nobody. Few people outside of your small section know you or have ever heard of you. However you love the bank and are very dedicated to your work.
One day the CEO of the bank walks into the office and asks you how you foresee the bank and it's future. As you love the bank, you tell the CEO that it is the best bank in the world and that it is the future of banking.
For some unknown reason the CEO likes what you have said, and tells you to grab your stuff as you have just been promoted with immediate effect. He walks into the main banking hall with you, and announces to the entire bank that you have just been promoted to be in charge of your country's head office. He immediately gives you the keys to all the banks and their safes and announces that you may now do whatever you wish in the bank and He will back every decision that you make.
Well that sounds a little unbelievable and far fetched ! No, Not Really!
The day that you stand up and confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, that is exactly what happens.
Matthew 16 :19 " And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth, will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven".
You have been given the most powerful set of keys that ever existed. All authority has been given to you by the CEO Jesus Christ. He will back your every decision. You have been given the power over heaven and earth. USE IT!

Walk in the authority of Jesus
1 John 5 : 4 to 5
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world.
And this is the victory that has overcome the world,
Our Faith.
Who is he that overcomes the world,
But he who believes that
Jesus is the Son of God?Good Morning.
Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God? If you have then you are busy overcoming the world!"You are of God , little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."

If you have been given this power to overcome, and you have been given authority over all things through the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, then why are you sitting back and allowing the devil to walk all over you and defeat you?
You have the greatest army behind you, and the greatest leader ever, one who has already defeated the enemy. You have been given all authority to walk into the camp of the enemy and say to them that they have already been defeated and you come in the name of your leader, Jesus Christ, to claim the victory that was already ceded to you through Christ Jesus.
Authority is something that has to be taken and used. Jesus has given you the authority and the power in His Name. If you do not take up the authority, the devil will walk all over you. But the minute you take the authority that is already yours, the devil has to admit that he is defeated and has to back off from you.
Now if you are under attack - laugh and rejoice!
If it seems like everything and everyone is against you - laugh and rejoice!
Now have a look in the mirror and laugh at yourself, and then say to yourself
"I have had this power from the day I accepted Jesus as my lord and Saviour and could have saved myself from so much anguish and pain. From this day forward I refuse to let any situation get me down, but I will take the power that I have within me through Christ Jesus and I will overcome through His Name."
Now walk in the total power and authority of the Name of Jesus.
