Jesus. Jesus and you!

Bonded in the love of Jesus.

Colossians 3:14 "But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection."

Colossians 3:24 "Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ".

The bond of perfection is love. Perfection is Christ Jesus and in order to be complete we should have a bond of love with Him. A bond can be defined in this context as being a uniting force to tie together. When we decide to fill ourselves with love, we have a uniting force with Jesus and become tied together with Jesus.

How great is the love of Jesus for us and therefore just how powerful is the bond that forms between Jesus and us? This is answered for us in Ephesians 3:17-20

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."

The love of Jesus passes all knowledge. Just think how much knowledge is actually available in the world today. Have a look at the amount of knowledge available on the internet which has over 250 000 new web pages added to it daily. This is all just a pin prick compared to the size of the love that Jesus has for us and with which we are bonded to Him.

Think of Mount Everest, the highest place on earth, or the bottom of the deepest ocean. We can only wonder what lies down at the bottom of the deepest ocean as no one has ever been able to go there, but yet the heights of Mt Everest and the depths of the deepest ocean are minute in comparison with the bond that we have with Christ Jesus through His love for us.

Jesus is love and wants to become bonded with you in that love which is greater than anything that you could ever imagine. There is nothing that is bad enough or big enough or powerful enough to be able to prevent you from being bonded with Jesus through His Love. Nothing you have ever done before is stronger than His love for you. Nothing that you have ever even thought of is greater than His love for you. Jesus loves you and is waiting for you to become bonded to Him through his love. Become bonded to Him today in love .

Abide in Me.

John15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you."

John15:9 "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in my love."

John15:10 "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments  and abide in His love."

John 15:12 "This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you."

The word "abide", used in the context above, means "To live in" and "Continue to be sure or firm." When we come before Jesus, we are to abide in him. This means that we have to start to live in Him, and continue to to be sure and firm in Him. You have to start placing Jesus as the root and foundation in your life. You have to place your feet firmly within Him, and then you know that He is the foundation in your life, the one that you can continue in and be sure of.

When you have an old house that is busy falling down, and you wish to rebuild it. First, you demolish the old house, then remove the old foundations. Once this is done, you cast new solid foundations and start to build your new house. If the foundations of the old house are weak, and you try to place new brickwork on the old foundations, the brickwork will continually crack and fall.

When we come to Jesus, we declare that our old house was starting to fall to pieces, we then demolish the old house through getting baptised in water, and in the submersion in water, we cast a new foundation and rise up out of the water with a new foundation cast solidly in Jesus. We then start to build our new house on that solid foundation of Jesus. When you try to build a new life, but fail to go through baptism in water, you often fail because you have not renewed your foundation.

"And my words abide in you". You have to get the word to live inside of you, and that is through reading the bible and depositing the written word of God into your spirit. That is the only way for the word to abide in you.

Once you have become firmly founded in Jesus, and His word has become firmly entrenched with in you, then whatever you ask, will be done for you, for automatically whatever you ask for will be in line with the word of God and will be to the glory of God, for its is in Jesus that you abide and love, and your will has become His will.

Jesus said that as the Father has loved Him, so He also loves us, and we are then to be founded and sure in His love. You are to be secure, knowing that He does love you.

When you abide in Jesus, you will become a person full of love, for just as Jesus had that perfect love for others, Jesus has become your root and foundation. The root feeds the tree and branches, and therefore Jesus feeds you with love, which in turn shines through you to all around you. You also will want to keep His commandments, and His greatest commandment is that we love one another, as He has loved us.

In summary, you have to build your house on the foundation of Christ. Destroy your old house, be baptised in water, and become sure in the knowledge that you abide in Him, and His words abide in you, and that He loves you.

I love Jesus

I love Jesus with all of my heart and all of my soul, and I am not ashamed to tell anyone that I love Jesus. Do you love Jesus and are you proud enough of the fact, that you are able to stand up and be counted by saying to others that you love Jesus.

What makes Jesus so lovable? Jesus is pure love. Jesus so loved you and me that He was prepared to lower Himself from heaven, live on this earth for some 33 years, be persecuted, be ridiculed, be tortured and then be nailed to a tree, just to prove to you how much He really loved you. He did all of that just for you.

John15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends". These were the words of Jesus, and that is exactly what He did for us. He layed down His life and suffered, just for you and me.

We hear all thes sayings about how love is the greates gift of all - Jesus was therefore the greatest gift to us as He was perfect love given to us. Love is kind - Jesus was the kindest of all.  Love is patient - Jesus has been waiting for years just for you to come to Him. Love covers all sins - Jesus is quick to forgive you of any sins. Love is blind - Jesus does not worry about what you look like or your physical appearances, He thinks that you are beautiful and perfect.

Jesus is love, and there is nothing in this world that can portray true and perfect love better than the example set by Jesus himself. That is why it is impossible not to be able to love him. Jesus did give us a commandment that we should follow, if we do truly love Him, which is set out in John 15:17 "These things I command you, that you love one another." If you truly love Jesus, then He has instructed you, that as He loved you, so must you love all of those around you.

If you truly love Jesus, and are not ashamed to say so, then leave your name in the comments below, and merely say, "I love Jesus". If you have never had the opportunity of accepting Jesus and experiencing His total love, then say this small prayer to accept His love.

God Bless - Oh and remember- I love you.
