Be diligent in Christ Jesus.

To be diligent is defined as "Characterised by steady, energetic effort." Diligence is part of a character trait that we are to grow within us a part of our christian character, similar to how we should grow the fruits of the Spirit. Diligence can be said to be the opposite of the sin of sloth, which is one of the seven deadly sins.

Proverbs13:4 "The soul of a sluggard desires but has nothing. But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich." I know many spiritual sluggards, whose only contribution to their spiritual walk is to grudgingly attend church occassionaly. These are the very same people who are constantly having problems in their lives, and who are constantly calling on the church leaders to solve their problems, and who are always wanting to know why Jesus is not there to sort out their problems for them.

The diligent are those who are prepared to spend time in reading the bible to deposit the word within their soul, dedicating a portion of their day to prayer to strengthen their soul, and actively forming a relationship with Jesus, being bonded to him in love. The diligent are constantly aware of the spiritual conditions around them, watching for the evil one who comes to rob, steal and destroy, and when they see the evil one approaching as a thief in the night, they are already dressed in the armour of God, ready for battle, a mighty army led under the direct command of the greatest leader, Jesus Christ.

The sluggard sleeps, and spends his time dreaming about his own needs which he wants everyone else to see to. He is not one to waste time in reading the bible or for spending much time in prayer. When the thief comes in the middle of the night, he is fast asleep and when he wakes up, he realises that all his treasure has been stolen (Matthew 26:41). Do not sleep for the thief comes to rob, kill and destroy (John 10:10). Be aware and alert, being armed with the full armour of God, that when the thief comes, you are ready to defeat him. Also be aware that the commander of the mighty army, Jesus, is also coming to visit soon, and those who are not ready, will be left behind (Matthew 24:44 Matthew 25:5).

Be diligent in all that you do, both spiritual and in your worldy positions, for in being diligent, you will reap the rewards of riches.

Reaching our destiny in Christ Jesus

Our destiny in Christ Jesus is set and we all know the final destiny that we want to or wish to reach. Heaven is the most obvious final destiny that we all plan to reach one day, but what varies is the route that we follow to reach our final destiny in Christ Jesus.

Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life". Jesus is therefore the guide that God has given to us to follow in our journey through life towards our final destiny of heaven and eternal life through Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the navigation system that has been planted within of us, and Jesus is the guiding satelite that will steer the navigation system.

The other day, I was travelling with my son and we were using a GPS navigation system to get to our destination. I was fascinated by this system where you enter your destination that you wish to go to. The system then detcts where you are and then sets a map before you with the directions to follow to reach your destination. As you travel, the system issues commands to you to turn here and turn there etc. If you miss one of the turnings, then the system suddenly starts to recalculate your route, and then again finds the best route for you to follow to get to your destination.

Our route is planned for us to reach our destiny in Christ, but how often does our navigation system in Jesus and the Holy Spirit have to "Recalculate" our route because we choose not to follow the original plan. Every time that we choose to ignore the Holy Spirit that is within us and miss a turning or a road, the Holy Spirit and Jesus have to recalculate  our path, and often the alternative path that they need to then take us along is not as good as the original route that was planned. "Oh Brother, I am travelling along a real rough and bumpy road". Well why did you miss the turning onto the highway that was clearly indicated to you. If you did not miss that turning you would be travelling along the smooth highway of life. Oh well you see, when that turning came up, I was not watching or listening to the GPS of life and was rather preoccupied with something else in my life.

Our GPS System of life becomes activated the minute that we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. Immediately our end destination is set as being "Eternal life in Heaven". The instructions are heard when we spend time in fellowship with the Lord through prayer time and quiet time with Him. The more that we listen to the instructions and the more that we turn off the distracting noise of sin in our lives, the better we are able to follow the instructions and travel the smooth highways of life. The GPS screen to follow is the instructions of the bible, which clearly indicates the route that we have to follow in life. Read the bible carefully and diligently, that you will not miss the instructions that are being passed onto you and so that the GPS will not have to constantly recalculate your route.

Diligence is rewarded by the joy of travelling a smooth road to your final destination.

Conquering Low Self Esteem.

Low self esteem is the plague of many, bringing them down to levels bordering depression. Low self esteem will kill you , your future, your career, your marriage, your social life and will affect all of those around you. On the other hand, pride is associated with a high self esteem and is one of the seven deadly sins. Pride will kill you as well, so where is the middle line or the area of neutrality where you suffer neither from low self esteem or from pride.

First I would like to deal with those christians who are battling with low self esteem. Should you be battling with low self esteem, where you are under the impression that you are not worthy, or perhaps you feel that you are incapable, then you are highly mistaken. Jesus called you to Him. You did not choose Jesus, but rather He chose you, and He chose you because you are perfect for the plan that He has set out for you. John 15:16 "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit..."  If you are feeling incapable, then you are telling Jesus that He does not know what He is talking about and I doubt if  you really want to be saying that.

Jesus chose you for a purpose, and that is because somewhere you have a special quality that He wants to use. He created you for a purpose and going back we were all created in the Image of God. Now if you were created in the image of God, and Jesus has you set aside for a purpose, one that only can be accomplished through you, then I would say that that makes you kind of special. In fact it places you high above many that have not been called by Jesus.

What then is the cause of your low self image? Possibly it is because you are not happy with your capabilities. You can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. Rely on Him and trust in Him, and you will be capable of the supernatural. I personally am not a doctor, and have not studied medicine, but I have seen many lame people walk, and all other sicknesses healed, and many blind people see, from the work that Jesus has done through me. I have received at times wisdom from above, that placed me far in the lead in business. You see I believe that I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. You are also capable of doing all the above and far greater things if you will only trust in Jesus and lean on Him.

The second major cause of low self  image is physical appearance. Possibly you have gained some weight. Possibly you feel inadequate as a woman because your bust is too small or possibly too large. Men often feel inadequate due to different causes such as the loss of hair or the size of their equipment. Firstly if it is your weight that worries you, then I am going to advise you to purchase the course called God's way to weight loss which is advertsed at the top right corner of this page. This course is incredible and will assist you in removing low self esteem from your life forever. Not only will you lose your low self esteem, but you will also lose weight permanently and you will become as God created you, and that is "Perfect".

As far as inadequacy in the area of sexual organs go, I thoroughly believe that God created you perfect and just the way He wanted you to be. He gave or will still give you a partner that is perfectly suited to you and whose requirements fit yours perfectly. Feelings of inadequacy are fueled by satan himself through the media, and especially pornography, where the image of the average person reflected is totally manipulated and is shown to you in such a way that will only leave you feeling totally inadequate and fuel your low self esteem. Leave that media behind and ask God to remove those images away from you. You are perfect. Read also the Virgin marriage.

In order to overcome your low self esteem, you have to believe that you are saved, and then believe that you were chosen, and remember that God does not choose junk, but only chooses the best. Then you need to study more of the bible to build your faith, not only in Christ, but also in yourself. You need to realise that satan himself has been active in your life, for whilst he is abler to convince you that you are worthless and inadequate, you are prevented from moving in the full power of the name of Jesus.

The opposite of low self esteem is the sin of pride. Pride is when you consider yourself to be far higher than you actually are. Pride is only able to come into your life when you are of the opinion that you have the power yourself and you forget that you have the power through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. That subtle little difference is what counts, you can do all things is pride, but you can do allthings through Christ Jesus, is walking in the power of the name of Jesus.

Now go and walk proudly in the name of Jesus.

Bonded in the love of Jesus.

Colossians 3:14 "But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection."

Colossians 3:24 "Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ".

The bond of perfection is love. Perfection is Christ Jesus and in order to be complete we should have a bond of love with Him. A bond can be defined in this context as being a uniting force to tie together. When we decide to fill ourselves with love, we have a uniting force with Jesus and become tied together with Jesus.

How great is the love of Jesus for us and therefore just how powerful is the bond that forms between Jesus and us? This is answered for us in Ephesians 3:17-20

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."

The love of Jesus passes all knowledge. Just think how much knowledge is actually available in the world today. Have a look at the amount of knowledge available on the internet which has over 250 000 new web pages added to it daily. This is all just a pin prick compared to the size of the love that Jesus has for us and with which we are bonded to Him.

Think of Mount Everest, the highest place on earth, or the bottom of the deepest ocean. We can only wonder what lies down at the bottom of the deepest ocean as no one has ever been able to go there, but yet the heights of Mt Everest and the depths of the deepest ocean are minute in comparison with the bond that we have with Christ Jesus through His love for us.

Jesus is love and wants to become bonded with you in that love which is greater than anything that you could ever imagine. There is nothing that is bad enough or big enough or powerful enough to be able to prevent you from being bonded with Jesus through His Love. Nothing you have ever done before is stronger than His love for you. Nothing that you have ever even thought of is greater than His love for you. Jesus loves you and is waiting for you to become bonded to Him through his love. Become bonded to Him today in love .

Regeneration

What is the Biblical Regeneration.

Titus 3:5

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit".

Paul talks about the washing of regeneration in this scripture. Regeneration as defined basically means the recreation or renewing of something. So when Paul talks about the washing of the regeneration, I can only assume that he in fact talks all about the whole process of baptism in water.

Through the Baptism in water, we become a new creation. We die to our former self, through Christ Jesus, and we rise up a new creation in the likeness of Jesus, through His death and resurrection. In the baptism in water, we get regenerated through the power of Christ. We become a new creation. We are made new through Christ. We were all born perfect in the likeness of God, but as we go through life, that perfection is lost due to our bowing down to the wiles of the devil. We become moulded into the world. Romans 12:2 says we are not to be conformed to this world but be transformed through the renewing of our minds. However, before we get to know and serve Christ, we are conformed (moulded into) to the ways of the world and lose some of the perfection in which we were created.

In verse 3 of Titus 3, Paul states how we were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. Then in verse 4, he states that when the kindness and the love of God our Saviour appeared towards man, which is Christ Jesus, he came and saved us and caused us to be made new through the washing of regeneration.

Paul then adds "and renewing of the Holy Spirit". When Jesus was baptized in water by John the Baptist, as He came out of the water, the Spirit of God descended like a dove and alighted upon Him (Matthew 3:16). Through the baptism in water, Jesus himself received the Spirit of God upon Him, and when we go through the baptism in water, we receive a new spirit into ourselves which is the Holy Spirit

It is through the regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, that we are transformed from the old sinful person as described in Titus 3:3, to a new creation that is filled with the 9 Fruits of the Spirit (Galations 5:22), which are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.

We can not achieve the fulness of these fruits without first being made a new creation, by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and through the baptism of water, by which we receive regeneration and a renewing of the Holy Spirit that is within us.

Once we have grasped the full concept of regeneration of our bodies through Christ Jesus and do not doubt in the work which Jesus has done within us, we will realise that old things have passed away and all things become new. Our bodies become a new creation and old problems with our bodies are removed. We have to renew our minds through the renewing of the spirit and start to believe that through Christ, that has set us free, and through the regeneration of our physical bodies, we have been set free from sickness, we are set free from obesity, we are set free from ill health and our bodies have become brand new.

We are set free from sin and lusts and all the bad as described in Titus 3:3, through the renewing of our minds, and these former bad traits are replaced with the Fruits of the Spirit.

Walk, therefore, as a new creation in Christ, set free from the old body and mind, with a new perfect body and a new mind.

God Bless

The Fruits Of the Spirit.

The Fruits of the Spirit.

Galatians 5:22

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control."

Why are these characteristics called the "Fruit of the Spirit?"  Why fruit? In Galatians 5:19 it talks about the "works of the flesh  and then goes on to talk about and refer to the Fruits of the Spirit.

When it comes to the flesh and all things classified as being from the flesh, these are things that we do. In order to commit adultery, we need to go out and have an affair. It is something that we purpose to do, and then go and do it. It is something that is done instantly.

How to grow the Fruits of the Spirit.

However, the fruits of the Spirit are not things that we can do instantly. In fact they are not things that that we can actually just purpose to do at all. These are things that slowly grow into our lives. They start off as the tree into which we are grafted (We are grafted intro Christ Jesus). The tree develops branches (us). Then the branch comes to life and starts to form little buds. The tree needs constant nourishment fed from the roots to the trunk and into the branches and eventually to the leaves and buds. This is the feeding off of the word of God through Christ Jesus.

At first, the little buds are hardly evident, but as the tree obtains more nutrition through to the buds, they start to grow into fruit. As time progresses the fruit gets bigger and bigger and then becomes fully ripe. The fruit is then the sweetest and most pleasant and refreshing of all the foods.

We need to take care of the fruit, lest insects and worms come and destroy the crop.

Such is the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. It is not there instantly, but the more we feed and obtain nutrition through the word of God and by drawing on Jesus Christ, the more the fruit of the Spirit will become evident in our lives. We need to nurture, feed and protect the fruit so that it may become ripened and sweet.

We need to protect the fruit against the swarms of insects and worms that will come to destroy the fruits. The best is to spray the fruit daily with the love of Jesus. This will protect the fruit from invasion. Water the fruit of the Spirit daily through the word of God.

Do this and soon you will have the most beautiful fruit growing, and many will come to your tree to feed from the fruit of the spirit.

You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God

Matthew 16 : 15 to 16
He said to them
"But who do you say that I am?"
And Simon Peter answered and said
"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God"

Good Morning and happy Workers Day or May Day.

Christ asked the disciples who they thought that he was. Simon Peter had the revelation and confessed with his mouth in front of all that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Have you confessed to others that He is the Christ. This is one of the most powerfull statements that you can ever make before others. It is the first step of your walking in total authority. It is the first step towards your moving away from being the tail and becoming the head.

Let us presume that you are working as a clerk in a large multi-national bank. You are a nobody. Few people outside of your small section know you or have ever heard of you. However you love the bank and are very dedicated to your work.

One day the CEO of the bank walks into the office and asks you how you foresee the bank and it's future. As you love the bank, you tell the CEO that it is the best bank in the world and that it is the future of banking.

For some unknown reason the CEO likes what you have said, and tells you to grab your stuff as you have just been promoted with immediate effect. He walks into the main banking hall with you, and announces to the entire bank that you have just been promoted to be in charge of your country's head office. He immediately gives you the keys to all the banks and their safes and announces that you may now do whatever you wish in the bank and He will back every decision that you make.

Well that sounds a little unbelievable and far fetched ! No, Not Really!

The day that you stand up and confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, that is exactly what happens.

Matthew 16 :19 " And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth, will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven".

You have been given the most powerful set of keys that ever existed. All authority has been given to you by the CEO Jesus Christ. He will back your every decision. You have been given the power over heaven and earth. USE IT!
God Bless
