Jesus Above All
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." Ephesians 3:20. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus is the Messiah and simply by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is the Christ and that He is the Son of the Living God, you unleash all the power and might from above, to work in you and through you.
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways my ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And my thoughts than your thoughts". (Isaiah 55:8)
Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he is one with the Father and with the Holy Spirit. The ways of God are so different to and much higher than our ways, and so are the ways of Jesus. We can not understand God or Jesus with our minds, for our minds are unable to comprehend the ways of the Father. However we have been given the Holy Spirit, which is one with Jesus, to live inside of us. The Holy spirit, being one with the Father and Jesus, is able to comprehend the ways of the Father.
Jesus is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, and will do above all that we ask, if we are able to allow Him to work through the Spirit that is within us. The Holy Spirit is the power that works in us. As God's ways are so much higher than our ways, we are unable to fully comprehend or understand the ways of God, and therefore with our minds we are often unable to understand the route that God may be taking us in our lives. However we have the power within us, through the Holy Spirit, to lead us and guide us and give us wisdom. If we learn to obey and listen to the Holy Spirit within, then we start to allow Jesus to work through us and unleash the power that is within us, so that He may do exceedingly abundantly more than we ask.
Often Jesus starts to take us into a path or a direction that we can not understand with our minds. Automatically we stop and turn around and refuse to walk in the path because we do not understand in our minds where the path is leading to. We ignore the direction of the Holy Spirit within us, and turn around and return to where we are comfortable and to an area that our minds understand. However in leaving the path that we could not understand with our minds, which is the path that Jesus was leading us into, we often turn away from and miss the abundance that Jesus had for us at the end of the path that we did not wish to follow.
When we choose to follow Jesus, we have to understand that we are giving control of our lives over to Jesus. We have to understand that we are leaving a life of understanding with our own minds, and entering a new life which is led and guided by Jesus. We are no longer in control, but Jesus is now in control. Unless we hand full control over to Him and unless we allow Him to lead us into some new paths in our lives, we can never reach the abundance that He has planned for us.
Hand your life totally over to Jesus, and learn to follow the guidance that He has given to you through the Holy Spirit that lives inside of you. Follow the path that He is guiding you into, for at the end of that path lies the true joy, happiness and abundance that Jesus has for you.
Dealing with Hurts
At some stage in our lives, most of us will be deeply hurt by someone. This hurt can take on many forms. For some it may be rejection by someone you love, a family seperation, emotional abuse etc.
The important thing is that an emotional hurt is basically the same as a physical hurt and if not treated the hurt will slowly start to turn septic and eventually gangrene will set in, causing eventual loss of limb or life. Untreated emotional hurts often manifest themselves in the form of cancer or arthritis.
I have taught before that sickness is often due to problems in the spirit and in the mind. These become the root of the problem, and the symptoms of the problem then manifest themselves into the flesh in the form of sickness, or even weight gains. Medical science then treats the symptoms, but they seem to constantly return, because medicine can not treat the root cause. Only through healing the mind and body can these sicknesses be totally healed.
Many people, when experiencing a major hurt in their lives, tend to put the hurt into a little box, seal it, hide it away and then forget about it. However the contents of those little boxes are often radiactive, and the box can not contain the radiactivity, which then seeps out and causes sickness to all those who are in the vicinity. You can not see the radiactive waves, you can not smell them, you can not feel them, but you know that they are there from the sickness that is produced from them.
In order to get rid of the radiactivity contained in the box, you first have to trace the box. In order to trace the box, I would suggest that you pray that the Holy Spirit reveal it to you. The Holy Spirit will then start to bring to mind all the hurts that have been sealed away, but never properly dealt with. Disinfect the hurts with forgiveness, clean them with the blood of Jesus, and cover them with the plaster of love, and soon the hurts will heal totally with no further radiactivity, for they are cleansed, disinfected and covered properly, and healed forever.
I have previously seen people set free in an instant from hurts that were so immense, that they had totally wiped them from memory. These hurts were revealed, forgiven and dealt with, and the person set totally free in a matter of seconds.
Pray that the Holy Spirit reveal these hurts to you, forgive the person for causing the hurts, and cover the hurt with love, and the sickness that is in your body will be healed in the name of Jesus.

Jesus Died to your Advantage.
John16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if i do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you." These are the words of Jesus to His disciples when He started to warn them and prepare them for His death. They are also words to us, that we must not mourn His death but rather that we should celebrate in His death the fact that we have received life.
In verse 21 of chapter 16, Jesus describes labour of a woman and the birth of her baby. The woman is in great sorrow and pain as labour comes on. She endures the agony of the labour pains and after awhile, the new baby is born. the woman quickly forgets the pains of birth and rejoices and celebrates the new life that has been born into the world. So must we be, forgetting the labour pains that Jesus endured for us in His death, that we may be born again into the world, a new creation through Him, filled with His Holy Spirit.
I have heard many say that they wish that Jesus was here alive on the earth today. Jesus said it was to our advantage that he goes away. If Jesus were alive on earth today, He would be restricted by an earthly body and would not be able to see to the needs of all the people of the earth. In the death of Jesus, we were given a new life and His Holy Spirit that lives inside of us. It is a part of Jesus that lives inside of you.
Now if you have not yet learnt to listen to and obey the part of Jesus that is within you through His Holy Spirit, Just what then makes you think that you would listen to and obey Jesus in person if He were still alive on earth today. Jesus is alive and living, just not as a physical person, but as a spritual being that lives right inside of you, available to listen to you and guide and protect you 24/7.
Because Jesus now lives inside of you through His Holy Spirit, He says to us in John16: 24 "Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full." Jesus lives inside of you, and so you therefore have the full power and authority of Jesus living right there inside of you. All you need to do is ask the Father for anything in the Name of Jesus, and the Father in Heaven will supply to all of your needs (Maybe not wants) according to His riches and glory. If you are filled with the Holy Sprit, then automatically whatever you ask for will be in line with the word of God and not based on selfish wants.
Jesus said that it is to your advantage that He goes away. If you have been given the advantage, then you have to use it.
Reaching our destiny in Christ Jesus
Our destiny in Christ Jesus is set and we all know the final destiny that we want to or wish to reach. Heaven is the most obvious final destiny that we all plan to reach one day, but what varies is the route that we follow to reach our final destiny in Christ Jesus.
Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life". Jesus is therefore the guide that God has given to us to follow in our journey through life towards our final destiny of heaven and eternal life through Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the navigation system that has been planted within of us, and Jesus is the guiding satelite that will steer the navigation system.
The other day, I was travelling with my son and we were using a GPS navigation system to get to our destination. I was fascinated by this system where you enter your destination that you wish to go to. The system then detcts where you are and then sets a map before you with the directions to follow to reach your destination. As you travel, the system issues commands to you to turn here and turn there etc. If you miss one of the turnings, then the system suddenly starts to recalculate your route, and then again finds the best route for you to follow to get to your destination.
Our route is planned for us to reach our destiny in Christ, but how often does our navigation system in Jesus and the Holy Spirit have to "Recalculate" our route because we choose not to follow the original plan. Every time that we choose to ignore the Holy Spirit that is within us and miss a turning or a road, the Holy Spirit and Jesus have to recalculate our path, and often the alternative path that they need to then take us along is not as good as the original route that was planned. "Oh Brother, I am travelling along a real rough and bumpy road". Well why did you miss the turning onto the highway that was clearly indicated to you. If you did not miss that turning you would be travelling along the smooth highway of life. Oh well you see, when that turning came up, I was not watching or listening to the GPS of life and was rather preoccupied with something else in my life.
Our GPS System of life becomes activated the minute that we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. Immediately our end destination is set as being "Eternal life in Heaven". The instructions are heard when we spend time in fellowship with the Lord through prayer time and quiet time with Him. The more that we listen to the instructions and the more that we turn off the distracting noise of sin in our lives, the better we are able to follow the instructions and travel the smooth highways of life. The GPS screen to follow is the instructions of the bible, which clearly indicates the route that we have to follow in life. Read the bible carefully and diligently, that you will not miss the instructions that are being passed onto you and so that the GPS will not have to constantly recalculate your route.
Diligence is rewarded by the joy of travelling a smooth road to your final destination.
Spiritual Awakening
AsI was lying in the bath last night, God started to reveal a vision to me, in which I saw a massive move of the Holy Spirit that was moving throughout the churches of the whole world. There were great and mighty signs and wonders and miracles with people being filled with the Holy Spirit as in the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). People were being healed from all kinds of diseases and sicknesses including cancer.
I saw the faces of children such as Monique Van Rooyen and baby keletso, who were being set free. I saw children filled with the Holy Ghost that were praying for adults and the adults were being filled with the Spirit, through the anointing that was upon the children. I saw the churches filled to overflowing with people bubbling over in their excitement in the Lord. As I pondered upon the vision, God started to show to me that this is the future of the church, and His movement through the church is just starting.
This morning as I was praying, again God revealed a vision to me, where I saw the earth and I saw what appeared to be waves like the Mexican wave, going about the whole earth, sweeping from the north, and from the south, and from the west to the east. It was the waves of His Holy Spirit, as it revives the people and the churches throughout the whole world.
Where will you be in this new and exciting movement of God. Will you be spiritually awake or will you be sitting in spiritual anorexia. God requires that we be alert, that we be awake, and full of His word, dressed with His armour, that we may ride the wave of His glory as it sweeps the whole earth. You need to feed your spirit and strengthen your soul through reading and studying the bible, that there may be power in your life. You have to be strong and full of stamina in order to catch and ride the wave of His glory that is sweeping the world.
Spiritual anorexia or starving yourself of vital nutrition in the word of God, will result in your being unable to catch the wave of His glory. You will not have the power in your body to endure the intensity of the wave and will fall behind. Get into training now and strengthen yourself in His word, exercising the armour of God, and begin to allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind, in order that you may be able to ride the new wave of spiritual awakening that is starting to sweep the face of the whole earth.
If you have never before surfed the Glory of God, then ask Jesus into your life , so that you may be able to catch the wave of glory that is coming.
All about Love.
Jesus is all about love and our relationship with Jesus is all about love. Jesus paid the ultimate price for the love that He has for us in dying on the cross. What does Jesus expect back from us in return for the love that he showed to us.
Jesus expects us to love Him back and if we love Him, then we are to keep His commandments - not out of duty , but out of love. John 14:21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." The person that has the commandments of Jesus is the person who reads the bible and receives a deposit of the word into his soul. The person that keeps His commandments is the one who loves Jesus, for if you love Him and have a relationship with Him, you will want to please Him and obey Him. What person who loves their husband or wife dearly, does not want to please their husband or wife. Jesus is much more than a husband or wife to us and if you have accepted Him as Lord and Saviour in your life, then you do love Him and will want to keep His commandments.
When you love Jesus, the Father in heaven changes his heart to you and the Father Himself falls in love with you, and then Jesus manifests Himself (Shows) to you. Verse 23 says "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our home with Him." What can be better than knowing that both Jesus and the Father have a home with you.
The key to having a life filled with God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, is the love relationship that you have with the Son, Jesus. If you have accepted Jesus into your life, you have begun a love relationship with Him. If you love Him, then you will want to keep His commandments and will do your best to please Him. When you keep the commandments of Jesus and love Him, then the hand of the Father is turned and the Father will love you and the Father and Jesus will come and make their home with you through the Holy Spirit.
Love Jesus with all of your heart and all of your mind, and He will come to you and show Himself to you, and once Jesus shows Himself to you, your life will be changed permanently.
Born Again
Jesus said to us that you must be Born Again.
John 3:7
Do not marvel that I said to 'You must be born again'
verse 12 "If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things."
The above words are extracts of a conversation that Jesus was having with Nicodemus. This man, Nicodemus was a ruler of the Jews and was considered a very educated man of the day, and a teacher of Israel. Jesus explained to Nicodemus, that in order for someone to enter into the kingdom of God, you had to be born again.
Nicodemus, with all of his earthly wisdom and knowledge, was unable to understand that Jesus was referring to our spirit and not our earthly bodies. Nicodemus was not able to think outside of the area of his understanding and knowledge which then limited him to a knowledge and understanding of earthly things only.
When we come to Jesus and we call out to Jesus to help us and become our Lord and Saviour, we start to turn away from living as a earthly and wordly being and begin our journey into becoming a spiritually driven being. See also the regeneration. Our knowledge base starts to change and we start to gain an understanding of the heavenly things that we were unable to understand before. Due to the regeneration of our spirits, and the renewing of the Holy Spirit within of us, we become born again of our spirits.
In Matthew 13 from verse 13 to 15, Jesus explains understanding the heavenly things, has not been given to those who have not yet been called or been born again.
In Isaiah 55:9 it explains that as the heavens are higher above the earth, so are His ways higher than your ways, and His thoughts higher than your thoughts. If you are bound into earthly understanding, you will never be able to understand anything that is of God, as God is spiritual and not earthly. You can not understand God with your reasoning and you can not understand Him with your head.
You can only ever understand God with your heart, for within your heart is the Holy Spirit which gives you the understanding of Heavenly things. In order to enter into the Heavenly things, you have to have faith. Faith is believing in things, the evidence of which, has not yet been seen. Educated people, mostly, want to first see and have proof of anything before they can believe, and therefore they never attain the faith that is required to enter into spiritual understanding. Jesus says that we are to come to Him as little children. Little children are so full of faith and will do anything that you tell them to do, without question, knowing that whatever you promise to them, they will receive.
Come to Him as a little child, knowing that if you have total faith, and obey His commandments to you, that once you have obeyed and walked around the city of Jericho seven times, that the walls will fall down.
If you have never accepted Jesus into your heart before, and have never experienced the love of Jesus, then do so now, that you may start to receive the wisdom into your life that comes from above. Accept Jesus and become born again.

Regeneration
What is the Biblical Regeneration.
Titus 3:5
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit".
Paul talks about the washing of regeneration in this scripture. Regeneration as defined basically means the recreation or renewing of something. So when Paul talks about the washing of the regeneration, I can only assume that he in fact talks all about the whole process of baptism in water.
Through the Baptism in water, we become a new creation. We die to our former self, through Christ Jesus, and we rise up a new creation in the likeness of Jesus, through His death and resurrection. In the baptism in water, we get regenerated through the power of Christ. We become a new creation. We are made new through Christ. We were all born perfect in the likeness of God, but as we go through life, that perfection is lost due to our bowing down to the wiles of the devil. We become moulded into the world. Romans 12:2 says we are not to be conformed to this world but be transformed through the renewing of our minds. However, before we get to know and serve Christ, we are conformed (moulded into) to the ways of the world and lose some of the perfection in which we were created.
In verse 3 of Titus 3, Paul states how we were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. Then in verse 4, he states that when the kindness and the love of God our Saviour appeared towards man, which is Christ Jesus, he came and saved us and caused us to be made new through the washing of regeneration.
Paul then adds "and renewing of the Holy Spirit". When Jesus was baptized in water by John the Baptist, as He came out of the water, the Spirit of God descended like a dove and alighted upon Him (Matthew 3:16). Through the baptism in water, Jesus himself received the Spirit of God upon Him, and when we go through the baptism in water, we receive a new spirit into ourselves which is the Holy Spirit.
It is through the regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, that we are transformed from the old sinful person as described in Titus 3:3, to a new creation that is filled with the 9 Fruits of the Spirit (Galations 5:22), which are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
We can not achieve the fulness of these fruits without first being made a new creation, by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and through the baptism of water, by which we receive regeneration and a renewing of the Holy Spirit that is within us.
Once we have grasped the full concept of regeneration of our bodies through Christ Jesus and do not doubt in the work which Jesus has done within us, we will realise that old things have passed away and all things become new. Our bodies become a new creation and old problems with our bodies are removed. We have to renew our minds through the renewing of the spirit and start to believe that through Christ, that has set us free, and through the regeneration of our physical bodies, we have been set free from sickness, we are set free from obesity, we are set free from ill health and our bodies have become brand new.
We are set free from sin and lusts and all the bad as described in Titus 3:3, through the renewing of our minds, and these former bad traits are replaced with the Fruits of the Spirit.
Walk, therefore, as a new creation in Christ, set free from the old body and mind, with a new perfect body and a new mind.

Be Renewed in the Spirit of your Mind
Ephesians 4:22 to 23.
That you put off concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
We were all created with spirit, mind and body. Three parts to us and all three of importance. The most important to us is our spirit, then our mind and lastly comes our body. The spirit is that which will live for eternity and that is why I place it as being most important. If it is the spirit that will continue, then we need to ensure that our spirit is in top form and that it is not corrupted.
The scripture above says "And be renewed in the spirit of your mind." This indicates to me that the mind in fact is what controls the spirit. Although the spirit is most important, the mind is in control. The mind is what allows the spirit to act or to not act.
Should you be praying one day and the voice of God comes to you and gives you an instruction to go out and give food to Peter down the road. The spirit has received the instruction from God. The mind then takes over the instruction and decides for itself whether to obey or not obey the instruction to give food to Peter. Lastly, once the mind has decided to obey, it gives the instruction to the body to get up, grab a parcel of food and take it to Peter and bless Peter. The mind controlled all things, even though the spirit is far more important.
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind, is telling us that we have to let go of the control that we have through our minds and allow the spirit to take control of us. The more that we allow the spirit to control, the closer we become to God and the more that He is able to work through us and in us. Romans 12:2 says that we should not be conformed or moulded into this world, but that we should let our spirits take control and allow the spirit to change or transform us, through the renewing of our minds.
In wordly people, the mind controls what happens, the spirit is dead or belongs to satan, and the body takes the form of the wordly spirit that is within. A wordly spirit is unhealthy, fat and ugly.
When we become a christian, we receive a new spirit within us, which is the Holy Spirit. The mind slowly learns that the spirit is now in control and gives control over to, and starts to obey the spirit. The mind becomes renewed and the spirit that is in control now begins to transform the body into a healthy and beautiful creation that it is meant to be.
When we begin to allow the spirit to control, and not our minds, we will automatically become more healthy, more beautiful and former problems, even down to things like obesity, will become subject to the word of God and will start to be resolved without physical effort on your part. Sickness will be removed if your mind will only allow it to be. The mind has to be brought under control and has to become subject to the power of the spirit in order that you may prosper and allow the word of God to take full effect in your life. The spirit says you are healed, but the mind takes control and says that it is not possible because I have an incurable disease, or that I can not be healed because I have not taken medicine yet.
The mind prevents you from walking in the fulness of that which God has promised to you. With God all things are possible, and so through the Spirit of God within you, all things become possible to you, as long as your mind does not decide to try and take control.
Be renewed in the spirit of your mind and allow the spirit to take control of your mind. Stop letting your mind control the spirit.
God Within
Discovering the God within Me.
In order to fully understand the whole concept of the God that lives inside of you or me, I wish to take you into a little parable of the very successsful business called God's Church. This parable will help you to fully understand the concept of the Holy trinity, and will differentiate to you the Christain belief of the God that lives within you to the New Age belief of the God that is you.
God's Church.
Today I want to thank you for taking the time out from your busy schedule and for enquiring about our program to join God's Church. Our's is one of the oldest companies going, and we do not change much as we are the market leader, we always have been and we always will be.
First I am going to introduce you to our Sales Director. He is the one who will ultimately be in charge of you and the one to whom you will report, should you wish to join this organisation. Jesus is a people's person and loves all people from all walks of life. He will guide you through the entire sign up process. He will register you and He will enter your name into our company books, which we fondly call the Lamb's "Book of Life", as being a member of this organization. Jesus will supply you with the white uniform that we all wear as part of our company dress, and should your uniform become dirty at any stage, do not fear, for all you need to do is take it to Jesus and He will wash it white as snow again. Jesus will issue you with the instruction book that contains all the necessary information that you will need to guide you along your way and keep you on the path.
Next I would like to tell you about our CEO. His name is God and hence the name of our organization being called God's Church. God is very private and few have ever seen Him. You will not see him until such time as you have completed your work here, and go into retirement. However, Jesus communicates with God every day and informs God of what is happening, and in turn carries out and enforces God's wishes. Should you wish to enquire or require anything of God, you will go through Jesus. In your instruction manual, on the page and paragraph titled John 14:6 it clearly states that no-one comes to God except through Jesus. Please do not try to bypass this commandment as it will result in you missing our companies door, which is very small, and enetering into the large door which belongs to the counterfeits.
Before we go any further, I wish to point out to you a fact that you will find in your instruction and guidance manual, under the section titled John 15:6, that even though you may think that you happened upon this company by chance, you did not. We scout around an we choose those whom we wish to join this company. You were chosen from amongst many candidates and hence the invitations for you to join this company were sent out to you. You will later be required to send out invitations as well.
Lastly I wish to introduce to you a very special feature that this company has. We believe that in this company, all of our representatives should be given the full power and authority that they need to carry out the missions that they will be required to perform. We have the Helper who is called the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will be placed within you and will be there to guide you and assist you in all that you do. The Holy spirit will give you instructions from within, will teach you to be bold, and will lead you in all things. The Holy Spirit will give you the wisdom that you lack. The Holy Spirit is your personal trainer and will always be with you and live inside you. The Holy Spirit is there to help you along your way and it is highly advisable to listen to the Holy Spirit as He will lead you into the correct path. We do not believe in forcing our representatives to comply with our instructions and so the Holy Spirit will never force you to do anything, but a word of advice to you, is that the Holy Spirit in you, has never and will never be wrong. Obeying His guidance will result in you achieving and completing your missions without much effort and timeously. Should you choose to do things your way instead, you will end up in many dead end roads and become entirely frustrated whilst trying to do things in your own ability and strength.
In conclusion, We, that is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are working together in unison to keep this company in control. We all act as one and any address to any of us, or any instructions issued from any one of us, shall be seen as being addressed to all three of us as we are one company. We are God's Church or as we are commonly called, the "Holy Trinity".
The Holy Spirit that will be placed within you, will be part of God that lives within you. Please remember that you will have the power of God inside of you and God will literally live within you through the Holy Spirit, and you may at any time that it is seen fit, use this power to fulfill the purpose of "God's Church". However you will at all times remember that unlike the counterfeits, such as the New Age movement, this God within you is on loan to you and as such you will have God within you but may never become a God yourself!
