Too Much God For Me
I was going through some posts on Facebook and came upon this comment, "I enjoyed the course but it had a little too much God in it for me!" The comment in question was made by a friend of a distant relative who lives in another country so I have never met this person before and have no clue as to their outlook towards God.
How Much God is Too Much God?
My mind started to race as I chewed over the comment.
So many things have come into my mind that it is almost impossible to list them here but the most important one is:-
What will happen when we get to Heaven one day - Will there be a bit too much God there for us?
Blessings and Curses
May God's Blessing be upon you
Blessings and curses are old testament matters that have no real relevance in today's times - WRONG! Blessings and curses have as much power over your life today as they did in the old testament times.
If I had to stand before a packed church on a Sunday morning and ask the congregation if they are blessed, I am sure that at least 99% or more would put up their hands and say that they are blessed.
If I again ask the same congregation if curses exist in todays times, I would estimate from past experience that the huge majority would deny that curses even exist anymore and the rest would say that they have no power in todays times.
However, many Christians do not even understand the word "Blessed" and when asked exactly what it means to be blessed, you are likely to be met with blank stares and very confused faces. If you use the simple standards, as set out in Deuteronomy 28, to determine if you are blessed or cursed, you will find that at least 90% or more of the congregation that said that they were blessed, suddenly finds that they may not be walking in as many blessings as they thought that they were, and that it is indeed possible that they may in fact have a curse or two hanging over their life that they were totally unaware of.
Blessings.
The word "Blessed" is best defined as "To be Envied." If you are not envied by all around you, then the chances are that you are not walking in God's full blessings. Let me say right now that blessings have nothing to do with being rich. I know many rich people with whom I would never ever trade places with and whom I do not envy at all.
Riches have never brought happines into anyones life. Mostly, new riches starts to breed greed and the desire for even more riches. Money becomes an obsession in life instead of it being a means to obtain what you need in life. Money in itself is not evil, but the love of money is the root of all evil. When your love for money overtakes your love of God, you are in the clutches of the devil.
The first section of Deuteronomy 28 gives us clear instruction on how to walk in the blessings of God and what they are :-
" Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
And these blessings will come upon you and overtake you because you obey the voice of the Lord your God." Verses 3 to 14 continue to list the blessings. Take these verses, modify them to todays terms ( ie cattle increases refers to increases in your investments etc), and see if you have the full blessings of God in your life.
Although these are Old Testament scriptures, they stand true to today and unless you are walking in the commandments of God and in full and total obedience to Him, you can not receive the full blessings of God.
Curses.
There are many curses that exist in the Old Testament. These are curses that are directly from God and do not even involve satan or witchcraft or black magic.
Briefly, Malachi describes that you are cursed if you do not tithe. Zaccariah describes the curse that rests upon the liar and the thief. However, all of these sub - curses can be summarised by the main curse found in Deuteronomy 28:15
"But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:" Verses 16 to 68 continue to describe the curses that can come upon you if you are disobedient to God's word.
When reading these verses it is important to understand that times have changed dramatically and so you do need to modernise the scriptures slightly to adjust for modern times. There were no bank accounts and investments in those days so where it talks about your increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks, in modern times it would refer to the performance of your investments, etc.
Jesus came and set us free from the curse.
I have had many argue with me that curses have no relevance in todays world because Jesus took all curses upon himself when He hung on the tree. Jesus also took all sickness upon himself as well and yet many christians are dying daily from sickness.
Curses still have the ability to affect you today as much as they affected the Old Testament people in the past. If you are disobedient to God and do not obey His commandments, then you nullify the works of Jesus and the curses are able to rest on your life and affect you. As much as Jesus loves you and wants you to walk in total freedom from curses, the curses will remain in your life until you identify the curse and the cause of the curse, repent and turn back to obedience to God.
Are there other curses that can affect us?
Sure - there are many powerful curses that can affect your life today. Possibly the most powerful is the word curse. A word curse is a something that is spoken into your life usually by someone who is in position of authority over you. This can be a parent, a teacher etc, who says something like " You are stupid". You then accept these words as factual in your life and go through life being controlled by these words and believing that you are stupid.
Parents and teachers, as well as bosses, have to be extremely careful with their words that they speak over those whom they have authority over. Take care to confess only positive things over those whom you have authority over, knowing that your words can impact into their lives in a good way, or a negative way that can virtually make or ruin the rest of their life.
My brother was highly intelligent and very good with figures, but right the way through his life he was told that he was stupid with his hands. As a result, even though he was fully capable and able to tackle odd jobs around the house, he always believed that his efforts were useless and that he was never able to do anything good with his hands.
"What you believe with your heart and confess with your mouth shall come to pass."
Is it possible to break free from a curse?
Absolutely. In order to break free from a curse, you do need to first identify the cause of the curse in your life. If your problems are as a result of a word that has been spoken over your life, you must begin to reject that word and cast it out.
"Lord, I do not accept that word that was spoken into my life. I cast it out of my life in the name of Jesus and it shall have no power over me or my family."
If you have been disobedient to the word of God :-
" Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Forgive me for my transgressions. I turn away from them today and choose to follow your commandments carefully from this day forward. I break the curse that has resulted in my life in the name of Jesus."
Should you not know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, then simply say "God help me please".
Praise and Worship
Praise and worship is is not designed only for a church service, but should be a part of your everyday life. We were made to praise God and all of His Glory, and by not entering into praise we deny the creator who created us.
The fastest way in which to enter into God's prescence and into the Holy of Holies, is through praising Him and then worshipping Him. Psalm 95 :-
"Oh come let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His prescence with thanksgiving. Let us shot joyfully to Him with Psalms."
Psalm 100:4 "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise."
Often people tell me that they are unable to reach God or to hear God talking to them. It seems to them as if the Heavens above them are brass and that their prayers do not get through to God. Mostly people do not take the time to enter into the prescence of God. They rush in and start telling God everything that they do not have and everything that they need. If I was God, I would probably be saying, "Uh-Oh, here comes Suzy again and all she ever does is complain, so let me hide quickly." Fortunately I am not God.
My God inhabits the praises of His people. We were created for the purpose of praising God and giving glory to God. The way to enter into the prescence of God is through praising Him. When you start to praise God instead of complaining, and you start to thank Him for all that He has already done for you, and all that He is still busy doing, you will start to see a change in your life, in your prayer life and in your relationship with God.
For those that are married or in a serious relationship with someone, imagine what it would be like if whenever you are in the prescence of your spouse, all they do is tell you what they do not have and what you have not done for them, and how they are always lacking. I think that relationship would be doomed to failure. Yet this is the very type of realtionship that many have with God our Father.
Before you start to pray, take some time to thank God, take time to give Him glory for all that He has done for you, and sing and shout to him, even if it is only in your heart, and immediately you will see a difference. Once you have spent time praising Him, then go to the next level, which is to enter into worship, and before you will even realise it you will find yourself carried away in His presence, in the Holy of Holies, in total relationship with God. When you are in this state, you will find that you no longer need to go before God and cry and beg, for it will automatically be done for you before you even ask.
If you have never had the opportunity of being in a true relationship with God, then all you need to do is to ask Jesus to come into your life today by saying a small prayer.
Why do I Sin?
I love Jesus and have given my life over to Him, and yet I still constantly battle with sin in my life? Mostly the sins that you battle with are smaller sins, but sin is deadly and it worries you to such a degree that you start to think and question if you are worthy of serving the Lord Jesus and if Jesus loves you.
Do not worry as you are not alone. This is one of the frequent problems of the church. One of the big problems in the church of today is that it is quick to preach the "Thou shalt not sin," but it very seldom ever takes the time to show you why you sin and more importantly how to overcome the sin in your life.
Sin is no new thing and has been a constant problem in the lives of christians for all time. Galatians 5:16 "For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contary to one another, so that you do not do the things you wish." This scripture clearly indicates that there is a constant war going on inside of our bodies, where sin in the flesh fights against righteousness in the Spirit and perhaps some of the battles are indeed won by the Spirit whilst others are won by the flesh.
This is confirmed by the Apostle Paul in Romans 7:15 " For what I am doing, I do not understand, for what I will to do, that I do not practise; but what I hate, that I do". Even the most highly regarded of all the apostles had a problem where he found himself hating sin and yet constantly falling short and entering into sin against his own wishes.
Now you know that you are not alone and that you are not a failure. You are worthy of serving the Lord Jesus. All that needs to be done now is to help you strengthen yourself to a stage where you are able to easily forsake sin so that you do not experience the condemnation which comes from satan.
We are all created as three parts, mind body and soul. These three parts have fairly equal rights and powers in our life. Sin is mainly attributed to the body (Flesh) for it is the desires and yearnings of the flesh that bring forth desire and sin. The good part of our body is the Spirit or soul, which we know is the Holy Spirit that lives within us. Now it is these two parts of our body that are in constant war against each other as is indicated in the two scriptures above.
What can possibly make one stronger than the other and make it possible for one to always beat the other. While prayer and fasting and all those things do help to strengthen the body, even some of those who spend hours a single day in prayer, such as Paul, still fall short and end up sinning. So what is the magical factor that easily enables some to overcome the attraction of sin?
We are created as three parts, Spirit, body and Mind. The flesh wars against the spirit and whichever side the mind is on, is the side that is going to win. How you condition your mind is the determing factor as to how you are going to cope with temptation and sin.
Romans 12:2 "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Do not be conformed to this world means that you must not be shaped by the world and therefore fall to it's ways, but that you should rather be transformed, which is to take on a new shape, through the renewing of your mind.
Ephesians 6:12 says that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. This clearly indicates again to us that the war is not in our flesh, but is in the spiritual world of our minds.
Once you are able to renew your mind and concentrate on the good things of the Lord and His promises, then the flesh and the sin that it produces will quickly fall away and be defeated in your life and you will no longer find yourself being entrapped in sin.
Renew your mind to walk in the power of Jesus , overcoming sin and becoming more than a conqueror.
Jesus Above All
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." Ephesians 3:20. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus is the Messiah and simply by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is the Christ and that He is the Son of the Living God, you unleash all the power and might from above, to work in you and through you.
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways my ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And my thoughts than your thoughts". (Isaiah 55:8)
Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he is one with the Father and with the Holy Spirit. The ways of God are so different to and much higher than our ways, and so are the ways of Jesus. We can not understand God or Jesus with our minds, for our minds are unable to comprehend the ways of the Father. However we have been given the Holy Spirit, which is one with Jesus, to live inside of us. The Holy spirit, being one with the Father and Jesus, is able to comprehend the ways of the Father.
Jesus is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, and will do above all that we ask, if we are able to allow Him to work through the Spirit that is within us. The Holy Spirit is the power that works in us. As God's ways are so much higher than our ways, we are unable to fully comprehend or understand the ways of God, and therefore with our minds we are often unable to understand the route that God may be taking us in our lives. However we have the power within us, through the Holy Spirit, to lead us and guide us and give us wisdom. If we learn to obey and listen to the Holy Spirit within, then we start to allow Jesus to work through us and unleash the power that is within us, so that He may do exceedingly abundantly more than we ask.
Often Jesus starts to take us into a path or a direction that we can not understand with our minds. Automatically we stop and turn around and refuse to walk in the path because we do not understand in our minds where the path is leading to. We ignore the direction of the Holy Spirit within us, and turn around and return to where we are comfortable and to an area that our minds understand. However in leaving the path that we could not understand with our minds, which is the path that Jesus was leading us into, we often turn away from and miss the abundance that Jesus had for us at the end of the path that we did not wish to follow.
When we choose to follow Jesus, we have to understand that we are giving control of our lives over to Jesus. We have to understand that we are leaving a life of understanding with our own minds, and entering a new life which is led and guided by Jesus. We are no longer in control, but Jesus is now in control. Unless we hand full control over to Him and unless we allow Him to lead us into some new paths in our lives, we can never reach the abundance that He has planned for us.
Hand your life totally over to Jesus, and learn to follow the guidance that He has given to you through the Holy Spirit that lives inside of you. Follow the path that He is guiding you into, for at the end of that path lies the true joy, happiness and abundance that Jesus has for you.
Perfect Gift Love
Love is the most perfect gift that can ever be given to anyone, or that can be given by someone. Anyone who is not loved and who does not know how to love, is like an empty drum, lots of noise but no substance. What is love? Love is not an eery feeling. Love is not an emotion although emotions can be a part of love. Love is an act of your will. it is something that you choose to do. It is something that you want to do.
Love is when you will do anything at your own cost, to benefit someone else, expecting nothing in return.
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son. God did not need to send Jesus to us. God did not have to send Jesus to us. God wanted to send Jesus to us, so that we could see and experience perfect love. God gave us the perfect gift in His Son Jesus, who came to us, that we could experience the perfect love of the Father through Jesus, and that those of us who were prepared to receive His gift of love, could gain from it and receive everlasting life.
Jesus gave us two important commandments, first that we should love the Father with all of our hearts, and second that we should love our neighbour as ourselves. Love is to the spirit, what water is in life. Without love, we perish, we dry out out and become dust. Have you ever seen someone that neither loves nor is loved. They are dry. They are empty. They are an empty drum, full of complaints and moans and noise, but with no life flowing through them.
Love is life! Without love we are empty. Power and money is worth nothing, if there is no love. With power and money you can perhaps force people to obey you, but you will be empty and lost, without purpose. A river bed that has no water in it. It is said that Stallin was one of the most feared people in the Soviet Union. Anyone who dared to disobey him would suddenly dissapear. But it is also said that when he started to die, those who were around him, did not even try to save him, but merely turned their backs on him, allowing him to die, and that they would be rid of the tyrant. He was empty and without love.
How do you want your life to be, that of a dry river bed, or that river bed where the mighty Amazon river flows through? Jesus is greater than the waters of the Amazon, and He wants to fill the river bed of your life with His perfect gift of love, that not only you could be sustained by His love, but that you in turn would supply love and sustain all those around you with love. Love is the giver of life, and what can be better than to live a life full of love for those who are around you, and to be loved in turn by all you know. Look at a full flowing river, and observe how much life is around it. The grass is green, the trees are healthy and all the animals come to it to drink of it.
If you have never experienced the perfect gift of love, then open your heart to Jesus today, that He may full you with His perfect gift of love. Allow Jesus to flow into you and to flow through you, that all around you would come to know and feel the perfect love that has welled up inside of you. Share the perfect gift that Jesus has given to you. Show your love to others who do not have that love, and allow them to benefit from the living waters of love inside of you.
Cancer free
Cancer is the ultimate test of faith. Anyone that you may know that has been diagnosed with cancer will tell you that it is possibly the most life shattering news that one could ever hear. In our modern society with current statistics, at least 33% of us will hear that news at some time in our life. That is right, one in every three people will contract cancer.
Cancer has affected my own family badly. First I lost my wife because of breast cancer in 2002. Then I lost my brother to lung cancer. My one sister had cancer in the throat, but thank God is now cancer free. My other sister recently had a maligmant melanoma removed from her shoulder. My father in law has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. Is that enough! That is only those in my immediate family that have been affected recently!
I am sure that you all know someone that has or had cancer. If you are anything like me, at first I was angry with cancer, with God, and with all who were involved in the treatment of my late wife. Why did she have to die! After a few years, my brother passed away from the cancer treatments, I again became angry, but not at God, but at the seeming incompetence of the medical world. Why were so many people dying so uneccessary.
I believe that is when God slowly started to steer me and guide me into researching cancer and cures for cancer. I realised that I had no right to have been angry with God when my wife and my brother passed away. It was not God's fault, but more so it was my own personal fault because I had not started to research the options available from the beginning. Had I known then, what I know now, in all probability, both my wife and brother could have still been alive.
James 1:17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there no variation or shadow of turning."
For anyone suffering from cancer, you are in a desperate need of the good and perfect gift of being cancer free and to walk in total health again. This gift can only come from the Father in heaven who is the Father of lights. You need a miracle in your life and modern medicine can not do that for you. Only God can set you totally free from cancer.
God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. The scripture in James says that with God there is no variation or shadow of turning. God does not change, we change. If you do not yet have a personal relationship with God, then I would like to ask you to invite Jesus into your life right now, as your personal Lord and Saviour .
God gave us good instruction right from the beginning of life. In Genesis 1:29 God started to show us which food was good for us. He mentions vegetables, herbs and fruit. God knows that these contain enough sustenance for us, but are also beneficial to maintaining our health. God created our bodies and he knows what is needed by our bodies.
Can you imagine buying a new car. It is a petrol driven car. You decide that you are going to use oil instead of petrol and instead of using engine oil inside the motor, you will rather use diesel. I do not think that that car is going to get very far. Yet that is exactly what we do to our bodies. We fill our bodies with junk and expect peak performance.
My cancer studies led me back to the word of God, and the more that I looked at cancer, the more I realised that our modern methods of cancer treatment, radiation, surgery and chemotherapy, are more likely to cause you serious harm than to heal you. In fact few people are ever totally cancer free after these treatments. I then started to find more and more success stories from people who had been cured totally by alternative medicine sources, and found that most of these successful alternative treatments had one thing in common, they all took advice from the bible and from God's word.
Each of them had found that the success is in following what God originally planned for us and each of them concentrate on using food that God has already provided to us to heal the cancer. No mutilation through surgery, no burning from radiation and no poisoning through chemotherapy. Just pure and gentle food. God's perfect gift to us from above.
I am in the process of designing a course for cancer patients that is based on the healing power of God through healing the mind, body and soul. Unbelief Prevents Jesus Working.
Unbelief in your life, prevents Jesus from being able to effectively work in your life and ties the hands of God. Matthew 14:58 "And He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief". Jesus requires that we walk in faith, which is believing in things, the evidence of which has not been seen. One of the requirements of a miracle in your life is that you have faith and that unbelief has no part in you.
Many people who have great faith for many things, do still walk in unbelief as well, especially in certain area's of their lives pertaining to themselves. They are stricken with unbelief in area's such as "Well I know God can do mighty works and miracles, but I am not sure that God loves me enough to be able to heal me. God loves brother Peter and will heal him, but I am not really worthy of God and so God will not heal me". This is what I call self sabotaging unbelief and it ties the hands of Jesus and prevent Him from being able to work in your life. Self sabotaging unbelief's mostly come in the form of the belief that you are not personally worthy of the love of Jesus.
In order for you overcome your unbelief, you have to form a deep relationship with Jesus. Only by entering into a deeper relationship with Jesus and having quality fellowship with Him, will you come to realise the depth of His love for you. Jesus loves you with a far greater love than you can ever imagine or even begin to return to Him. Jesus is bonded to you in love and being bonded you can not be seperated from Him. Romans 8:38 explains that there is nothing that is capable of seperating us from the love of God through Christ Jesus. Nothing that we have done in the past is capable of destroying the love of Jesus for us, and as long as we are true to repent, all of our sins are forgiven and we walk in the fullness of the love of Jesus.
One of the biggest factors that prevents a marriage between man and wife from going forward from strength to strength is doubt and unbelief that the other partner loves you. When a husband is unsure of the love of his wife, the marriage seems to become stagnant and does not grow stronger. When we are unsure of the love of Jesus, it prevents our marriage to Him from going from strength to strength. Once you come to the full realisation that nothing is in fact stronger than the love that Jesus has for you, then all things become possible and Jesus is able to start to perform the great and mighty miracles that you expect from Him.
Matthew 21:21 "If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, it will be done".
Matthew 17:20 "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly , I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you."
In performing many of the miracles of healing, Jesus turned to the people and said, "Your faith has made you well." If you truly believe that Jesus loves you, then you also believe that Jesus wants you to walk in the fullnes of life and to walk in total health, regardless of the circumstances that may have lead to you becoming sick. "Your sins are forgiven of you." Do not let your unbelief stand in the way of your future in Jesus, knowing that Jesus loved you enough to die for you over 2000 years ago, and that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, and that He still loves you the same as He did 2000 years ago.
Rise up and stand proud in the name of Jesus.
Spiritual Awakening
AsI was lying in the bath last night, God started to reveal a vision to me, in which I saw a massive move of the Holy Spirit that was moving throughout the churches of the whole world. There were great and mighty signs and wonders and miracles with people being filled with the Holy Spirit as in the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). People were being healed from all kinds of diseases and sicknesses including cancer.
I saw the faces of children such as Monique Van Rooyen and baby keletso, who were being set free. I saw children filled with the Holy Ghost that were praying for adults and the adults were being filled with the Spirit, through the anointing that was upon the children. I saw the churches filled to overflowing with people bubbling over in their excitement in the Lord. As I pondered upon the vision, God started to show to me that this is the future of the church, and His movement through the church is just starting.
This morning as I was praying, again God revealed a vision to me, where I saw the earth and I saw what appeared to be waves like the Mexican wave, going about the whole earth, sweeping from the north, and from the south, and from the west to the east. It was the waves of His Holy Spirit, as it revives the people and the churches throughout the whole world.
Where will you be in this new and exciting movement of God. Will you be spiritually awake or will you be sitting in spiritual anorexia. God requires that we be alert, that we be awake, and full of His word, dressed with His armour, that we may ride the wave of His glory as it sweeps the whole earth. You need to feed your spirit and strengthen your soul through reading and studying the bible, that there may be power in your life. You have to be strong and full of stamina in order to catch and ride the wave of His glory that is sweeping the world.
Spiritual anorexia or starving yourself of vital nutrition in the word of God, will result in your being unable to catch the wave of His glory. You will not have the power in your body to endure the intensity of the wave and will fall behind. Get into training now and strengthen yourself in His word, exercising the armour of God, and begin to allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind, in order that you may be able to ride the new wave of spiritual awakening that is starting to sweep the face of the whole earth.
If you have never before surfed the Glory of God, then ask Jesus into your life , so that you may be able to catch the wave of glory that is coming.
The Chain Of Love
Love is as a chain, it consists of many links, each joined to one another, and each link in itself forms a ring or circle that is solid and never ending. So is the chain of love that fills our lives, it is solid and each link in it is never ending and permanently joined.
The chain of love
The first link in the chain of love is the anchor link. The anchor link is contained in John3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." This is the start of the chain. The chain is anchored by God Himself who then forms the link with Jesus who is the second link in the chain. John15:10 "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Fathers commandments and abide in His Love."
The first two links of the chain of love are set as being the Father and then Jesus. The third link in the chain is you. Are you linked into the chain of love in Jesus. Matthew 22:37 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,with all your soul, with all your mind." This is the greatest of all the commandments and almost all who have accepted Jesus into their lives obey this the greatest commandment, and have formed this crucial link in the chain.
We now have three links in the chain of love, God - Jesus - You. The second greatest commandment is revealed in Matthew 22:39 "And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself." This is the point where many a chain starts to fall apart, because you may be a weak link in the chain of love. Do you love your neighbour as yourself. Are you carrying that gift of love, that flows through the chain from the Father, and allowing that love to spread out further below you, that others may also experience the love of God, or do you consider yourself to be the last link in the chain of love, where all the love gets stored and goes no further.
John 15:17 "These things I command you that you love one another." Only in your carrying the love to others and forming more links in the chain of love, can the chain grow. At this very moment, you are forming the last link in the chain of love, and unless you reach out and link again to a lost soul, that chain of love can never grow. Reach out to your neighbour, which is not necessary your physical neighbour, but is someone that is around you, and invite them to join into the chain of love.
The chain is strong, it is secure, it is always growing, and will never lose it's strength. The chain is indestructable and each link in the chain relies on the other links around it for it's total strength. Each link in the chain feels when pressure is exerted to even one of the smallest links in the chain,and so it is in the chain of love. When stress and strain is placed on you in the tug-of-war of life, then all the links in the chain stand together and fight against the stress and strain, and with the Father as the anchor, and Jesus linked to Him, who can ever win against such a force.
If you are not in the chain of love, then get linked in now, and if you are already linked in, then seek to increase the length of the chain of love, by linking to your neighbour.
