Virgin Marriage
Virgin marriage is a rule of the bible. However not many virgin marriages take place in this modern world of freely available sex. The virgin marriage is however something that is for your benefit and is not just a law that was placed upon your shoulders to be hung as a burden to you. Virgin marriage is not about staying free from the harms of sickness such as HIV or aids, but is a sacred commandment that can help to set you free from a lifetime of sexual mysfunction.
Why should we be virgin’s when we marry? We will lose out on so much fun and will not have any experience and then once we are married, then we will want to play around and experiment, which can only cause affairs and divorce. WRONG!
God intended that we should remain virgins until marriage and that once we get married, we should have sexual intercourse with our wives or husbands only. There is good reason for this and I will explain all the reasons further down in the article. First let us have a look at the role of the devil.
The function of the devil is to rob, steal and destroy. The sole purpose of the devil and his reign of terror and perversion on this world is to take as many people with him to hell, as is possible. The devil wants to take you to hell with him and one of his great weapons that he uses is the area of premarital and unlawful sex. Unlawful sex is sex between anyone who are not husband and wife. The devil mainly uses sex to ensnare people as he realises that sex is addictive as drugs and that people do not readily talk about sexual perversions, and so by bringing them into a sexual perversion, he addicts them to it, and by the time that they are in a position where they can openly discuss this perversion, they are usually too far gone and hooked, to do anything about it. If you do not believe that sex is addictive, then just search a little on sex and see just how many sex sites there are on the internet which are luring people into the devil’s snare.
A virgin marriage which is followed by a lifetime of faithfulness to each other is a holy union that carries so much spiritual power. The devil can not stand against such a union and has to flee.
What are the benefits of a Virgin marriage?
Whilst there is a lot of talk about hiv and aids, and that if we obeyed the bible and only had virgin marriages and faithfulness between partners that there would be no AIDS epidemic, I do not believe that this is the first and foremost reason for having a virgin marriage. Yes, aids is a major problem and if there were only virgin marriages there would be little to no chance of aids having spread such as it has. However aids would probably still be around, but would just not be as prevalent, due to the fact that aids can be spread through blood and other bodily liquids. We will not delve deeper into this subject now.
The main benefit of a virgin marriage, according to me, is that there can be no comparison to former partners and therefore no unhappines sexually, leaving no reason for sexual unhappiness. If you have only ever known dry bread as your main food, you will not know what bread and jam tastes like and so will not want to eat bread and jam. You will be perfectly content with dry bread. However, once you taste bread and Jam, you will no longer be content with just dry bread. If you have never known another sexual partner, the man or woman that you marry, will be your only partner that you will ever know. Whatever sexual life that you develop will be between the two of you only and will not be based on things done by others or things learnt from others. Yes, you may experiment a little, but your sexual intercourse will not be perverted from other sources. The end result is that you will have a perfect unison, through sex that leaves both partners satisfied.
In this article, I explained that love is when you will do anything at your own expense to satisfy the needs of your partner. When you have two people in love, and making love, both doing all possible to satisfy their partners needs, then they will automatically both be 100% satisfied and there will be no need for external influences to be used to satisfy their needs. When you are 100% satisfied with what you have, you do not need to look around and the whole weapon of the devil is destroyed in your lives. He suddenly has no power over you and hence the virgin marriage carries a spiritual power that defeats the devil.
I know that it is too late for many to enter into a vigin marriage. However with God all things are possible, and by coming to Jesus and asking for him to set you free and for him to renew your mind, he can set you free from the past experiences, and make you a new creation, and being a new creation, you can be made into a (spiritual) virgin again.
