Healing Scriptures to build your faith.
This is an incomplete list of all the scriptures that are in the bible that deal with healing. There are hundreds of healing scriptures and as I go through reading the bible, I will be adding the scriptures that I find covering healing, to this list.
These scriptures will add to your faith for your own healing needs. Please study these scriptures well if you are in need of healing or if you go out and pray for the sick. The more that you read these scriptures on healing, the more faith is planted inside of you, which enables these healing scriptures to manifest into your life and then your healing becomes a reality.
Always remember these scriptures - Exodus 15:26 “ I am the Lord who heals you.”
Isaiah 53:5 “And by His stripes we are healed.”
Matthew 8:17 ”He himself took our infirmities and bore our sickness.”

Scriptures of healings performed by Jesus.
John 5:14 “See, you have been made well, Sin no more, lest a worse thing comes upon you.” This healing scripture deals with the healing a man with an infirmity of 38 years and indicates that this infirmity was caused due to sin.
John 9:2 “And his disciples asked, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Here we see that the disciples understood very well that sickness could come from sin in your life or the lives of their ancestors.
John 11:4 “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” Jesus indicated in the case of Lazarus that had died, that the reason for Lazarus dying was non other than for Jesus to raise him up to God’s glory. The same applies for the scripture above dealing with the blind man.
Matthew 8:3 “Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I am Willing; be cleansed.’ and immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” Jesus is as willing to heal you today as He was 2000 years ago.
Matthew 8:13 ” Then Jesus said to the centurion, ‘Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.’ And his servant was healed that same hour.” This is so important, that as you believe, so will it be domne for you. You have to believe that Jesus is going to heal you. If you doubt that Jesus is going to heal you then you have lost the battle.
Matthew 9:2 “And behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, ‘Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.’ “ This healing scripture combines two essential ingredients for healing, from the above scriptures - faith and the sickness origin of sin.
Matthew 9:21 ” For she said to herself, ‘If only I may touch His Garment, I shall be made well.” The lady with the flow of blood of 12c years. She knew that she needed a touch of Jesus, had faith that the touch would heal her, and then actively sought to receive that touch. Verse 22 “Be of good cheer daughter, your faith has made you well.”
Matthew 9:29 “According to your faith let it be to you.” Two blind men followed Jesus and wer crying out to Him to heal them. Again they were persistent in their faith in Him.
Matthew 12:22 “Then one was brought to Him who was demon posessed, blind and mute, and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw”.
Matthew 14:14 “And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick.” When you pray for those who are afflicted, compassion for them moves the hand of Jesus in healing.
Matthew 14:36 ” And begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.” You need to realise the source of your healing, which is Jesus, actively pursue Jesus and have faith in Jesus, and you will be made well.
Matthew 15:28 “O woman, Great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” Jesus healed the daughter of this woman from demon possesion. This woman begged Jesus for healing and when Jesus first denied it to heras she was from Canaan, she told Jesus that she was maybe like a dog to Him, but even dogs were worthy to eat the crumbs from under the master’s table. Be persistent, seek Jesus, have faith, know that you are worthy, and you will be healed.
Matthew 17:18 “And Jesus rebuked the demon and he came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.” This was a child with severe epilepsy as described in verse 15. This indicates to us that this condition is caused by demons.
Matthew 20:34 “So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.” Again we see the compassion of Jesus as being a major contributor to healing. The scriptures immediately prior also show the ingredient of persistence and actively pursuing healing. These two blind men, persistently called out to Jesus, until He heard them and healed them.
