Healed God’s Way – Introduction
I believe in healing through the power of the word of God.
In Exodus 15:26 it says ” I am the Lord who heals you”.
Please note that this is a work in creation and will eventually lead to a full course entitled “Healed God’s Way”. Mind, Body And Soul.
You are created as mind, body and soul. You are three parts just as God in heaven consists of the Holy Trinity – God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. With this in mind, if you consist of three parts, why when you are sick do you only concentrate on trying to heal one part only, which is your body. Often the sickness does not originate from the body, but possibly from the mind or soul. The symptoms of the sickness show in the body, and when you treat the sickness of the body, you are in reality not removing the sickness or the root cause of the sickness, but merely the symptoms. The root is still there which leaves the sickness free to re-appear at any time.
Many diseases and sicknesses are known to continually return. Other sicknesses are considered to be in the genes and passed down from generation to generation. These sicknesses include such things as cancer and heart conditions. However when we study the bible and God’s word, we find a different explanation as to that which science leads us to believe. Personally I trust the word of God far more than science and I would rather be healed God’s way than to be healed by medicine.
In order to be healed God’s way, we have to understand that sickness does not always originate from bacteria and viruses and germs, but often has it’s origins in sin that has occured somewhere along the way. Healing comes through identifying the cause of the sickness and then treating it accordingly. To treat sickness we have to treat all three spheres of our creation, which are mind, body and soul.
Healing the mind :- Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed through the renewing of your mind.”
Healing the soul :- Exodus 15:26 “I am the lord that heals you.”
Healing the body :- Isaiah 53:5 “And by His stripes we are healed.”
First let me state my position clearly. I believe in medicine and doctors, and they are doing a great job. However, certain sicknesses can not be effectively healed by medicine unless the root cause of the sickness is removed. The medicine merely treats the symptom, but just like a weed that is trimmed by a lawnmower, it will grow back stronger and stronger each time it is cut, until one day the root is removed. If the weed is pulled out and removed, it can never grow back. Medicine only cuts the weed but never removes the root. That is why some sicknesses such as cancer, seem to always return stronger and stronger each time. The root has never been removed.
The huge question is “How do we remove the root?” You can not remove the root unless you uncover and identify the weed. There are many things in the bible that can lead to sickness, and it is necessary that you identify the biblical cause of the sickness in order to remove the root and be healed God’s way.
Identifying the cause of the sickness may be a huge task, as often the cause may not be due to something that you have done wrong, but can be due to other factors that are out of your control. I wish to point out that not all sickness does originate from sin, but can be due to the huge amount of toxins that we absorb into our bodies daily through normal eating, drinking and breathing. However we do have a vaccine against such toxins through Jesus, if only we will be prepared to use it.
My Background.
My first wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. We were radical christians, full of faith and srved the Lord with all our hearts. Yet, after a battle of four years, my wife passed away from the cancer, despite us having seen great miracles of God on her during this period. This was a serious knock to my faith and took some years for me to come back and start to search for the truth as to why she died. Seven years later I finally found the answer as to why God could not heal her totally – there were roots that were never removed.
A year ago I lost my only brother to Lung cancer. Now I am currently working with other family members that have contracted cancer, and am determined that with God on our side, that the cancer will be healed totally through our faith in God. They will be healed God’s way and not through the worldly systems.
I am sickened by the fact that disease runs rife and unchecked through our world. Cancer now affects one in three people worldwide. It is time that we stand and fight cancer and overcome it. Babies are being born with cancer and children are dying from cancer. I do not believe that this is the will of my Father in heaven, and that there is a way to break free from these evil sicknesses and walk in total health.
Although this course concentrates on cancer, the principles in this course carry forward to every disease and sickness, and there is no disease or sickness from which the Lord can not heal you, if you will only obey His commands.
